Charli's View
"Dixie, get down." Dad says.
"I'm not gonna fall." Dixie says continuing the walk on the railing.
"Just get down." Mom says.
"If I was gonna fall, I would've fallen by now." Dixie says.
I look up and see bird flying toward Dixie.
"Watch out!" I say.
Dixie loses her balance and falls in the water.
"I tried to tell her." I say.
Y/n's View
"There's a teenage who fell off the railing." Sam says through the walkie-talkie.
"I'm on break." Ian says.
"You're always on break." I say.
I run to the poles of the boardwalk and go in the water. I swim to the girl and grab her. I carry her to the shore and put her down.
"Is she gonna be okay?" A girl asks as I give her CPR.
"She should be." I say.
The other girl coughs and I help her sit up.
"What wouldn't happened if I didn't sit up?" The girl asks.
"I would've had to give you mouth-to-mouth." I say.
She lays on the ground and the woman rolls her eyes.
"Dixie, get up." The man says.
"Report back to base." Sam says through the walkie-talkie.
"I gotta go, boardwalk girl." I say.
Dixie's View
The girl runs away and I sigh.
"I just wanted some digits!" I say walking away.
Time Skip
I knock on the door and it opens.
"Hello, cutie." The boy without a shirt on says.
"Not interested. I'm actually looking someone who's actually hot." I say.
"Boardwalk girl?" The girl before asks walking to the door.
"Idiot-who-ran-away-from-the-hottest-girl-on-the-planet?" I ask.
"My name is Y/n, sweetheart." She says.
"I'm Dixie, hoe." I say.
"I like you." Y/n says.
I smile and Y/n comes out. We walk down the beach and she breaks the silence.
"What makes you want me?" Y/n asks.
"All my life, I've been cheated on. I'm looking for a true love, someone who won't play me. I know that's you." I say.
