"You finally made it." Y/n says walking up to the girl that just walked in the house.
The girl smiles and they hug.
"This my wife, Dixie. Dixie, this is my new assistant, Addison." Y/n says as I shake the girl's hand.
"Nice to meet you." Addison and I say at the same time.
Y/n stares at her wrist and Addison puts her hand in her pocket to hide the bracelet.
I'm not jealous, but that's an expensive bracelet for an assistant. I know Y/n bought it for her. She's never spent that kind of money on me.
"Can we talk about the merger now?" Addison asks.
"Yes, of course. I'll be right back." Y/n says.
They go in the room down the hallway and I sigh.
I see someone looking at the photos on the wall and I walk up to them.
"I don't believe we've met before." I say as they turn around.
"Oh, I'm the photographer, Noah. You must be Y/n's wife, Dixie." The man says.
"Yes, I didn't know the company had a photographer." I say.
"I'm actually the accountant. I guess talking about my hobbies didn't pay off." Noah says.
I laugh a little and he smiles.
"I'm just gonna take a few photos and leave. Don't mind me." Noah says.
"Okay." I say.
"Hey, bestie." Larri says coming inside the house.
"Hi. Can we talk?" I say.
"Of course." Larri says.
I smile and we go outside.
"Hi, buddy." Larri says rubbing Max's head.
Max howls and he smiles.
"Y/n's assistant was wearing an expensive bracelet and I know Y/n bought it. When she saw me look at it, she put her hand in her pocket. Is that suspicious or am I just paranoid?" I say.
"Do you think she's her sugar daddy?" He asks.
"What?" I ask laughing.
He laughs and I smile.
"Trust Y/n. You've been together for almost 10 years. You have a child and baby on the way. Y/n is about to sign a contract that's can make her company millions of dollars." He says.
