I smell favoritism from all of you

My phone rings and I answer it.

"Max just fell off the fucking roller coaster! We don't even see his body!" Dixie shouts crying.

"What are you smoking?" I ask laughing a little.

"I'm not joking, turn on the news!" Dixie shouts.

I sigh and look up at the TV.

"An unidentified person was just see falling off the roller coaster, The Mind Eraser, at Six Flags. Police have not been able to find the body, only a puddle of blood." The news anchor says.

I quickly change the channel and start to cry.

2 weeks later...

As time passes, I feel so low

I open the closet and take Max's clothes out.

Maybe I'll feel less empty without staring at them every day.

Searchin' for pieces, covering up the hole

I just want to break down into tears all the time, but Max wouldn't want me to. He would want me to move on and continue having fun in life. I'll do that for for him only him.

I'll fight for your love, I'll fight for your soul

I just have to act like I don't care that my fiancé fell off a roller coaster and that his body is missing.

I'll throw all of my cares away for you

They're searching every lake in the state looking for his body, searching cars leaving the state, and questioning everyone at Six Flags that was there that day.

Something always tells me Max is alive. The other day, someone delivered a package and the same birth mark and tattoo Max has on his neck.

They even had my name on their arm. I wrote my name on Max's arm once and it never came off.

So call my crazy, but I'm gonna keeps waiting and see if Max is still alive.

I'll be there to wait for you

I put another shirt on the bed and a photo falls out of the pocket. I pick it up and see Max kissing someone while a kid takes a photo with them.

Maybe you weren't the one for me

It could be old. I know Max has a daughter, but he never won custody of her; he rarely sees her. He wouldn't cheat on me or lie.

But deep down I wanted you to be

I put the photo down and turn the light off. I go to my room and go to sleep.

"Hey there!" Someone says.
