I'm still new to the neighborhood, but I'm figuring things out. There's something about my neighbor, Charli, though. When water from her pool splashed on her, she runs inside. She dries off and comes back outside.
We live on a beach, I don't think it's a big deal.

I see Y/n's brothers playing football and she jumps the fence. Y/n rolls into the pool and I quickly back up.
"That didn't go as planned." Y/n says getting up.
"I think I have some clothes you can have." I say.
"Thanks." Y/n says.
I take her inside and we go in my room.
"Here's some of Dixie's old clothes and a towel to dry off with." I say.
Y/n smiles and goes in the bathroom.
I really like Y/n, but if she finds out that I turn into a mermaid when I get wet, she'll never talk to me again.
