The Trio (GirlXGirl)

Chapter Two

Hi. I'm Yuri. Are you my new team?"

Yuri is a Brownskin girl with black curly hair and brown eyes. She can do and knows more then she lets on.

"Yes they are" Responded Master Yin
"Isla Step forward" demanded Master Yin

She did as told

"This is Isla Navion. One of your new combat partners. You'll be sharing a dorm with her now. So please get along"

Isla looked at Yuri. She was really good at reading people but not her. Yuri was clearly smiling but it dosen't feel that way.

"Please show her to your dorm and help her move in" Said Master Yin

Aran, Isla and Yuri walked out into the hallway. Aran introduced himself.

"Hi I'm Aran Armenia, its nice to meet you and I hope we can be a good team" he extended his hand hoping for a handshake.
Yuri looked surprised but then excepted it

"I hope so too"
Aran focused his gaze on Isla causing for Yuri to do the same. Isla noticed this and broke the silence "well I guess its time for us to go to our dorm. Its getting late" Aran agreed
"Goodnight Isla" Aran said as he walked off in the other direction.
"Oh and you too Yuri"
"Goodnight" Yuri said.
As Yuri and Isla walked to their dorm it was quiet. They made it to the dorm and Isla spoke.

"Here it is. The left side is yours including the desk so you can study"

Yuri walked to the bed and layed on it

Isla asked "so what do you do?"

"Huh?"

"What is your combat skills? What type of magic do you use?"

Yuri made a face of realization
"Oh you want to know my place on the team."

Isla nodded her head in agreement

"Well lets just say I'm a healer"

"What do you mean by that? You're a healer? Thats it? No combat skills or abilities? "

"Nope just a plain healer" Yuri responded nonchalantly

Isla sighed "so you're basically deadweight." She thought

Yuri looked at Isla and smirked
She turned around and layed in her bed.
Isla took that as a signal to go to sleep and she got in her bed. She couldn't figure out why Master Yin would put a healer on their team when they could basically heal themselves. They never got any extremely serious injuries so a healer wasn't needed.

"With no combat abilities she'll die soon. Hope we get a better third if she does" Isla turned over and eventually went to sleep

The next morning was a Saturday. Isla woke up and sat up on her bed. Yuri was gone. Isla got up got and brushed her teeth in the bathroom. As she was finishing she heard a knock on the door. She went to open it and it was Aran.

"So are we going to the arcade today?"
Isla internally rolled her eyes and was about to decline untill Aran interrupted her.

"Hey Yuri. Where did you come from?"

"I had to do something involving studies but im finished now"

"Well I was just about to ask Isla to come to the arcade with me. Would you like to come too?"

"Yea. This week has been pretty stressful. It would be nice to go out. I just need to get away from this school for a few hours"

"What could have been stressful for her? She's literally a healer nothing more nothing less. Its not like she does combat like us" Isla thought

"So are you comming to the arcade?" Aran asked with some eagerness in his voice

Isla hesitated but eventually she said yes. She wanted to know more about Yuri. Not because she wanted to be her friend but because she was a mystery. And Isla hates mysteries. So how do you get rid of a mystery? You solve it.
