Chapter Three

Aran, and Yuri made small talk as they walked to the arcade while Isla just observed. Once they made it through the front doors Aran and Yuri eyes lit up

"I want to play every single game" Yuri said mesmerized
"We will play every single game" Aran responded also mesmerized
They rushed to the first game they saw and Isla followed behind them
Aran and Yuri picked up the toy guns.
"Do you know how to play?" Aran asked

"No" Yuri responded "but how hard can it be?"

They started the game while Isla stood behind them. When the game first started Aran had more points but as the game continued Yuri caught up in points. Her Aim and her reflexes got better and she continued the game. By the time it was over Yuri beat a record

"Wow you're a really fast learner. You beat the highscore on your first attempt. It took me several visits to even get close to that." Aran said amazed

Yuri laughed

"That was pretty impressive" Isla said "how do you have such good aim?"

"I draw alot so I've learned how to keep a steady hand" Yuri responded

Interesting

After a few hours of Them playing games and watching Aran lose to Yuri back to back. They decided to go get some food. They went to a restaurant nearby to eat and cool off. As they were standing in line waiting Aran Had to go to the bathroom

"Hey guys I have to use the bathroom. If I'm not back In time get the seats for us"

"Okay" Isla said as Yuri nodded in agreement. Aran left leaving just Yuri and Isla together in line. Yuri pulled out her phone and was scrolling through social media untill she heard and unfamiliar voice called out to Isla

"Hey red head" one of the three boys said to Isla
Isla looked up rolled her eyes then continued doing what she was doing. That must've angered the boy because he grabbed Isla's arm and said "I know you heard me. Don't play fucking stupid"

Yuri stepped in between the boy and Isla and said

"Let's not get to hasty shall we?"She said with a smile" What's stopping us from being friends? " she said that last part in a kid like voice

"Are you trying to fuck with me?"

"Oh no. Not at all...I'm just trying to fix an issue that you must have with my peer"

"If that dumb bitch would've just answered me the first time we wouldn't be here."

"Ahh so that's the issue. You can't take rejection" Yuri responded "Fragile masculinity or low confidence? " she asked condescending.

"I dont give a fuck if they're are people here. I'll knock your small fucking head clean off with no hesitation" He said as he pulled Yuri up by her shirt. Yuri's nonchalant and snarky personality was gone now. Its was just a blank stare. One of the mans friends tapped his shoulder.
"Calm down bro. Its not worth it. Plenty of other girls"

The man looked back at his friend then released Yuri shirt and pushed her back.

"Youre fucking lucky"

"Am I?"

He walked off with his two friends following behind him.

Yuri turned around

"Are you okay?"

"That was fucking stupid" Isla said bluntly

"What was stupid? The helping you part or.....the helping you part?"

"I didn't need your help. Don't think you're the shit just because you're in a new combat group. Do stupid shit like that on the field and you'll get us killed" Isla said with some anger in her tone

"What was the stupid part? You letting him grab you or me actually doing something about it? I'll admit fucking with him probably wasn't the best decision but I love fucking with people and fucking with him was fun"

"Yea make him even more mad for what? For his to let his anger take over and beat the shit out of you? You're a healer. You couldn't have done Shit to fight back against him! And who would've had to step in? Me the person who actually can do something!"

Yuri paused. Her whole demeanor changed and she went back to her calm and quiet girl persona "You're right. What could I have done. I'm just a healer" Yuri turned around and got them a table for them to sit at.

Isla was confused and angry but mostly confused. She shrugged it off. She walked to their table right behind Yuri. They sat down on opposite sides of the table. Soon Aran came back

"You might want to see a doctor" Isla said

"Why?" Aran questioned

"Because you were in that bathroom for over 20 minutes and I'm concerned for your health"
Aran blushed "shut up bro" Isla chuckled

"Wow she can actually smile. " Yuri thought
Isla and Yuri made eye contact. Yuri then looked behind Isla.
"Hold up guys. I have to make a call. Ill be right back" she stood up and walked out the restaurant doors. Isla thought it was odd but she didn't want to concern Aran. So she continued to talk to him.

Yuri P.O.V

I walked outside with a blank expression.

You'd think a guy would give up but no. They always need to show off to make themselves feel better.
I rounded the corner and Saw the same man that grabbed Isla sitting in the alley smoking a cigarette with his two "friends" behind him

"You actually showed up. Wow. you're really fucking dumb to accept a man's invitation to an alley." He laughed while he took the last puff of his cig then put it out. He started to walked up to me untill we were face to face.
I'm pretty tall but this guy has to be over 6"4 but its okay. I fought scarier things than him.
He looked down on me
The urge to fuck with him is too strong
"So what's going to happen to me" I said trying to act scared
"Nothing lil girl. Me and my guys are just going to teach you a lesson on why you should show people more." He stopped to think "Respect"

I couldn't hold in my laugh anymore. I chuckled in his face. As a result He grabbed me by my neck. Okay fun is over. I hate being touched. I smacked his hand and he looked a bit surprised before he smiled.

"You got a lil bite in you. I like it. I'm going to beat the shit out of you untill you can't bite no more"

He didn't give me time to respond. He charged at me instantly and threw me into a wall. Ouch. Okay so I was not expecting that. He threw a punch at me causing my nose to bleed instantly. He put his hand up my shirt.

"Im gonna have fun with this body"

I grabbed his hand

"My turn"
