Isla P.O.V
It's been 4 days since I went out to the arcade with Aran and Yuri. Ever since then. When I wake up for class she isn't there. When I go to class she isn't there either. She should be in my class. I mean she is in my group. I don't see her throughout the school day and she comes back to our dorm late at night. She'll try her best to be quiet then she'll get in the bed. I wonder what she does. But that dosen't matter today.
As I was siting in combat class the intercom when off
"Isla Navion, Aran Armenia and Yuri come to the armory"
Its been a while since we've been on a mission and it'll be out first with Yuri. If she gets us hurt ill kill her myself.
Third Person P.O.V
Isla and Aran excused themselves from class and entered the hallway on route to the armory.
"This is our first battle with out Jace and with Yuri. Im kinda nervous" Aran said
"Dont be. We've done this before. Don't let your emotions be your downfall" Isla responded sternly
"Yea you're right but we'll be seeing her powers in action. What if she's some all powerful being or something" Aran laughed at his own remark
"I think you'll be disappointed" Isla mumbled
Aran was going to ask her what did she say but they reached the armory. They entered and saw Master Yin at her desk.
"Master Yin" They said in unison
"Isla and Aran, come get your gear"
Isla and Aran followed Master Yin deeper into the armory. This wasn't their first battle and won't be their last. They got their Cloak and they Element Charm. The Cloak was created to withstand magical blast while the Magical charms are picked out by the student when they're young. The charm increases their power and stamina when paired with their wands. When the student picks out a charm it is destiny and what magic that charm represents is the magic they're destined to use.
As they were getting prepared Aran asked "Where is Yuri"
"She's waiting with the chariot. You three will leave together and come back together" Master Yin responded
Isla and Aran walked outside the school and saw Yuri waiting for them.
"Hey guys. Youre ready?"
Aran responded "As ready as can be"
Isla commented "Get in the chariot. I want to be back before sunrise"
4 hours later
Isla P.O.V
The chariot stopped, meaning that we're here and it's time for battle. Me Aran and Yuri got out and stayed amongst the trees looking for any enemies. Eventually I lost sight of Aran and Yuri but we both know the direction each of us roughly are in.
BOOM
I jumped as I heard a loud explosion comming from Aran's direction. I dashed over towards him immediately to see him fighting three rebels barely staying uninjured. We made eye contact and I could see the relief he felt when he noticed I was there. We gave each other the signal as we both jumped out from behind the trees to confront the rebels. I jumped up, flicked my wand towards on rebel as an electric blast was shot from my wand shooting the rebel back into a tree as a loud crack was heard. I looked to my left as I see the purple tint of light from Aran's Plasma blast split into two burning the outlet layer of skin on the rebels. The rebels fell back onto the ground. Their robes and skin blacked to a crisp.
He ran over to me "where's yuri" he asked as he's panting from that extreme blast
"I dont know but we can't stay here looking for her. We'll look on our way back to the chariot"
Third Person P.O.V
As Isla and Aran were going back to the chariot Isla felt Yuri's presence. Aran was never good a sensing others presence but Isla was pretty decent at it
"How the fuck is she at the chariot? " Isla thought
As they approached they Saw Yuri sitting outside the chariot playing with a baby squirrel
"Did you guys see any rebels?" Yuri questioned
"Yea we did. But the more important question is where the fuck were you at" Isla asked with some anger in her voice
"I was to the north. I didn't see anyone and I couldn't find you guys so I went back to the chariot and decided to wait." Yuri said innocently
"There is no fucking way you didn't hear the explosion comming from the east!" Isla said almost yelling at this point "you can't be fucking serious you-"
"ISLA" Aran yelled "calm down. It is possible that she didn't hear the explosions and we're a new team so she probably couldn't sense us as well as we can. Its a simple mistake and it's okay because we're all back together and alive" Aran flashed his smile
Isla sighed and got in the chariot.
Yuri and Aran made an apologetic face towards eachother trying to both apologize without saying words.
"We still have another battle after this so let's get going" Aran suggested
Yuri nodded her head in agreement
