Chapter 7

Isla woke up and looked around waiting for her eyesight to clear. She was in a tree. She looked up and Saw Yuri swinging her feet off the edge.

"Yuri" she said as she tried to sit up "Ow fuck" she looked down to see that her wound was still open but the blood has stopped.

"Don't try to stand up. It's not worth the pain" Yuri said as she noticed Isla was conscious

"What happened" Isla questioned

"I was able to get you out of the battle around the time Aran left to get help"

"How long ago was that?"
"Two hours ago. He won't be back for atleast 10 more. Four hours to get to the school and six hours to get back to us" Yuri commented

"Okay but where are the rebels? Are they still after us? I cant relax i need to fight"

"Calm down. We're nowhere near the rebels and you can't fight with that wound"

"Speaking of my wound why isn't it healed yet?" Isla asked skeptically

"What do you mean?"

"You know exactly what I mean. Your combat partner needs to be healed and you're a healer. So why am i not healed yet?" Isla asked more annoyed than before

"It would've been weird healing you while you were unconscious. I prefer for you to be awake so I can have consent"

"Consent? Why would you need consent? You're just healing me? Isla sighed "Please just heal me"

"Is this consent? " Yuri asked with one eyebrow raised

"Yes this is fucking consent. I have a hole through my fucking side so can you please heal me?"

"Gladly but there is one thing I should mention first"

"What?"

"Once I heal you I am the only healer who can heal you untill you or I die." Yuri chuckled"Whoa that was alot of heal's"

"Okay fine that works. I don't fucking care please heal me. This pain is starting to hurt the more you annoy me"

"Okay. If you say so"

Yuri walked closer to Isla and stopped in front of her

"Finally" Isla thought

"Close your eyes" Yuri commanded

"Why? "

"Because if you see what I'm about to do you won't let me heal you"

Isla closed her eyes. As Isla closed her eyes Yuri put her hand out and touched Isla's wound causing for her to twitch

"Sorry love" Yuri whispered

She stopped making noise for a few moments. Isla was confused and after 30 seconds she opened her eyes and said "is something wron-" but before she could finish her sentence Yuri straddled her and gently pressed her lips against Isla's.

Isla eyes grew wide. She tried to pull back and put her hand up but Yuri intertwined their fingers and put her free hand behind her head putting her fingers through her hair. Isla's free hand placed itself on Yuri's waist as she fell victim to the kiss. Yuri licked Isla's bottom lip asking for access. Isla hesitated. It didn't feel bad, it actually felt quite nice but that doesn't mean she should let it happen.
Yuri broke the kiss and whispered breathly
"let me heal you" as she pressed her body closer to Isla's. Isla opened her mouth allowing their tongues to dance together. Isla's grip on Yuri's waist tightened as the urge to moan built up in her chest. After a few more minutes of this tango they were doing Yuri pulled away and put her hand under Isla's shirt

"Okay. You're completely healed" Yuri said as she got from ontop on Isla.

Isla was speechless untill she gained her composure and looked down at her side. Her wound was completely gone. She was amazed until she realized the makeout session she had just went through. She started to blush and turned her head so Yuri wouldn't see.

"H-how di-did you do that?" Isla said nervously

"Im a healer but I guess you're wondering why I healed you through a kiss and not hand magic"

Isla shook her head in agreement

"Okay so how do I put this. I am a very special healer. I'm not sure if you know but healing someone through an intimate act is way more efficient and effective than hand healing. And that is because healing is an act of love. But not all healers can do that so they have to resort to hand healing. But me on the other hand I can do both. But that comes with a catch. I can do hand healing very well and on anyone but intimate healing I can only do with one person, and the one I do it to I can only heal them and they can only be healed by me. "

"So have you healed anyone else with intimate healing? " Isla asked

"Yes i have but that last person died which allowed me to do it to another person. If I didn't kiss you you would've died. Its takes alot more time to heal really bad wounds with hand healing than with intimate healing"

"But isn't that weird? Having to be intimate with someone you don't love?"

Yuri looked at Isla and laughed
"Wow, I would not have taken you for a helpless romantic"

"It's-it's not like that I was just asking a question" Isla responded embarrassed

"Because I possess this power the emotion of love is a normal occurrence for me. I love everyone. Actually that's a lie. I feel love for everyone untill they do something to lose the love I have for them and I feel extreme love for the person that I heal intimately."

"So you.....you love me?" Isla asked innocently

Yuri Smiled and looked at Isla
"Yes, I do but don't worry. It starts off with platonic feelings and they won't escalate unless you make them or I allow them too. So Unless you fall for me or unless I fall for you the feelings won't escalate."

"Oh okay. That makes sense" Isla responded

"I should also mention that because you accepted my healing you have the same feelings and the same rules apply to you. So all that hatred you were feeling towards me before is still there but now you love me also. So that might cause some weird feelings but you'll be fine"

"So why me?"

"Why you what?"

"Why me? Why did you choose to intimately heal me? You could've easily been having this same conversation with Aran. Did you only choose me because it was life or death?" Isla asked

Yuri explained"No. I was going to pick you either way, but you getting such a bad injury so early kinda made everything go faster"

"Why did you pick me?"

"I'm not telling you that yet. But this seems like enough talking for now. Its getting dark and we need a place to sleep"
