The 'Good' Are Built Off Lies... (Herobrine x reader)

Chapter 19

We came to the portal, the doorway to the overworld. We rushed through we had no time to waste. We couldn't risk it. Once we were at the other side Null, Entity and I teleported to the edge of he forest that borders the forbidden far mountains. Since they don't know what's beyond that they can't picture it to teleport us.

We picked up the pace as we started to walk the mountains. No talking the air between us was the same, filled with worry, anxiety and dread. After all we only had 3 days... not even. We had no time. So we needed to make time.

We needed to get there as fast as we could. We didn't stop to eat, we ate while walking. We did not stop to sleep, we had to push through... Herobrine depended on every minute we could use usefully.

We didn't talk, there was small conversation. The small conversation was me explaining what Notch did. However we were usually accompanied by silence. Walking in silence the whole way there. It wasn't awkward, it was comfortable, as I said before me, Enitiy and Null grew very good friends since I first arrived.

We were all feeling the same way. We didn't want to think about how we might not be able to stop the inevitable. With every minute, every second we walked... the inevitable got closer, walking beside our thoughts, by our sides... the whole way to the meadow.

In time we reached the end of the mountain path and on to a gravel road. Nothing but fields filled with animals stood beside us. The luscious green grass made the scenery look beautiful. The day was filled with a music I hadn't heard in a long time, usually it would give me peace but... not right now.

We walked on and eventually the sun started to fall from the sky and eventually hid behind the mountains and the bright full moon lit up the night sky. We had to keep walking, we three knew we had to get to the meadow fast, we walked and walked. No stopping. We walked past fields, sleeping animals and the mobs roaming around the night.

By the time we had got to where we needed to be the sun was already starting to rise. We each have a worrying glance to each other but kept on walking.

In time we came to a meadow filled with flowers of all kinds. Finally we had made it we were going to get the flower. Entity walked closer but as he tried to enter over into the meadow something or a spell kept him from entering sending him flying back.
Null and I rushed to his side as he sat up.

"Well... what do we do now?" he asked.

Well all looked at each other with a look of hopelessness.

I got up and walked over to where there seemed to be a barrier stopping us entering the meadow. I placed my hand out but I saw that my hand passed right through. This spell had the same colour as my magic and placing my hand near it I realised the barrier opened slightly allowing my hand through.

I brought my hand back and turned to Null and Enitiy and about to tell them there was still hope. Just as I did my faced dropped as I heard an unfamiliar voice.

"May I help you?"
