The 'Good' Are Built Off Lies... (Herobrine x reader)

Chapter 3

Y/n POV
I followed the maid through the hallways until we stopped in front of two doors we entered and it was a large bedroom with a queen size bed with red bed sheets and a fire place directly opposite the bottom of the bed with two chairs. There was a huge window with heavy red drapes and a view overlooking the Nether with two glass doors leading onto a balcony. There was a bathroom attachted and a closet. I sat on the bed when the maid set down some clothes beside me.

"Miss Amy gave me them so you would be able to change into a clean pair of clothes. I'll leave you to get settled in."

I nodded in response and she left, after that I lay on my bed wondering who this Amy and Ellie was? Were they the 2 girls I saw last night, they must be. I got up and walked over to the window I didn't open the doors to the balcony I just stayed behind the glass and looked out at the beautiful view of the Nether, as my eyes gazed over the outside I saw an ocean of lava, paths made out of nether Brick with mobs going about their daily routine. I saw soldiers training in the courtyard below, Wither skeletons, Endermen, zombies all sorts of mobs with bows and swords in hand. I saw ghasts flying over them minding their own business.

I stepped away from the window and decided to get a shower I needed to change into the clean clothes as the clothes I was wearing were on the verge off becoming rags.

I left the bathroom and walked over to the bed and unfolded the clothes, there was a pair of jeans a white top and a f/c checkered shirt. Once I was done changing I let my h/l h/c hair down and found a brush and brushed it and let it air dry. I decided to leave my room to see if I would be able to meet this Ellie and Amy. Just as Luck would have it as soon as I opened the door there they were, two girls standing in front of me.

"Hi there my name is Amy and this is my sister Ellie" said one of the girls, the other just said a quick "hi" with a wave of her hand. Both girls looked about my age (you're around 22/23, if you want to change your age you can) Amy wore black jeans, a purple crop top and a black denim jacket and Ellie wore black shorts with a long sleeved dark blue jumper. They both had long black hair, pale skin and purple eyes.
I starred at them looking at their eyes a bit too long without saying anything because Ellie said something to me, "We are Endermen hybrids that's why our eyes are purple", she said with a warm smile.

I snapped out of my thoughts, waved and said hi back and invited them in to my room.

"We saw you last night, we were with Entity, Null and Herobrine in the forest."
So they were the two girls I saw last night.

"Oh yeah I remember you two", I sat down beside them on my bed and we started to dive into conversation. They asked my name and a few other questions to get to know me and I did the same in return.

After a good hour or two of talking I asked them how they knew Entity, Null and Herobrine so well.
Ellie responded, "Well, my sister and I were friends with Null and Entity before the became very good friends with Herobrine."
Amy then asked me with a curious tone, the same question Herobrine had earlier,

"Why were you running from Notch?"

I paused for a few seconds took a deep breath and replied with the same answer, with a little bit of added detail.

"I'm not quite sure but I think it has something to do with the powers I have, other than that I don't really know."

Amy then asked me with a hesitant voice what kind of power I possessed, I assured her it was alright to ask and told them my powers which are mind control and telepathy.
"That makes sense as to why Notch would want you." Ellie said.
I gave her a confused look and she said,

"Oh sorry... there has been rumours going around that Notch is secretly training or testing a soldier with the ability to control minds to help him take down Herobrine, until now it was just a rumour."

I sat there, shocked not knowing what to say. I was... being used... as a weapon! I closed my eyes to collect my thoughts as questions pilled up on my mind adding to the tall stack already buried within my brain, I was snapped out of my thoughts when I felt Ellie and Amy hug me.

"It's going to be alright y/n, you're safe now Notch won't get you" said Amy.

I felt tears sting my eyes and blur my vision, I felt them trickle down my cheeks. It had been years since I had cried, I couldn't remember the last time I'd been hugged or comforted by anyone. All I knew since the age of 10 was that I was broken and I caused pain, when Notch came for me he told me I needed to be fixed and that's why he took me, he told me my powers were dangerous, I stupidly believed him but tried to get away once and there was...a price to pay. After all this time he was only using me. For a moment I finally felt safe, I felt happy, the happiest I'd felt in a long time.

"Amy we should give her a tour of the castle so she can get her bearings" said Ellie.
I agreed I needed a breather, I wiped the tears from my eyes as we all got up and walked out of my room. I felt mixed with emotions my heart was racing I tried to steady my breathing, I couldn't believe I was a weapon. I was a weapon! I wasn't a person to Notch, no, all I was, was an advantage, he used me, he lied and tricked me. I walked with Ellie and Amy me in the middle and Ellie and Amy by my side,I finally calmed myself down and I felt safer beside them. We walked through the halls, them making sure I would be able to find my way through this maze.

We walked past the grand hall, it had a massive golden chandelier hanging from the roof, the floor was gold and diamond and large pillars stood surrounding the hall. We walked by the dinning room with its long table, and the kitchen. They then showed me the weaponary room filled with all types of weapons: enchanted swords and bows, axes and pick axes, every type of armour from enchanted Netherite to leather. We then passed the infirmary I had already been in the infirmary so I knew what it was like. In the next room i saw Nancy she was brewing up a potion but stopped when Amy knocked on the door.

"Hey Nancy, what kind of potion are you brewing today?" said Ellie.
I waved and said hi and she invited us in for a chat.

"Well just the usual healing and regeneration potions, we're running out"
she said, she then looked over at me

"And how are you feeling now
Y/n" she asked me.

"I'm feeling much better, thank you Nancy."

"Well that's good, well if you'll excuse me girls I need to get back to my potion brewing."

We left and continued on the tour, we walked past the throne room, a large room with a platform at the end, on the platform sat an empty throne made from diamond and obsidian with a Nether star place on the top. The girls told me that Herobrine was probably in his office with Entity and Null. We finally finished our tour by entering the library, as I walked in I smelled the scent of cinnamon, the bookshelves surrounded the walls and ladders were there I'm case you need a book from the top shelves. As I came to the middle of the Library there was a huge sofa opposite a roaring fire with a coffee table in front of it.

We sat there and talked some more, I felt relaxed for the first time in forever but there was that voice on the back of my mind. Was I really safe? I kept reassuring myself that It's going to be alright... Notch won't be able to get me while I'm here....

I'm safe now....

Right?
