The 'Good' Are Built Off Lies... (Herobrine x reader)

Chapter 26

I felt her life drain away as Entity and I held her in our arms hugging her limp body. I stood up and backed away back to Herobrine. We both looked at each other and turned to where Notch had been standing looking out into the distance through the sobs of Entity and Amy.

As tears pricked my eyes, I looked back over to Ellie's lifeless body. Amy was now sitting beside Entity holding onto Ellie's hand, Null's arm was wrapped around Amy's back. Their screams of agony seemed muffled and quiet though I knew they could be heard from miles away.

I looked to Herobrine, although he had no pupils I could still see despair within those glowing orbs. I looked back over and then down at the ground as the tears started to run down my cheeks. I then felt warm arms wrap around me, embracing me in a tight hug, I looked up to meet Herobrine's eyes and then nuzzled my head into his chest, letting my tears soak his shirt.

"We can't be out in the open like this... if Notch is watching from the distance somewhere we can't give the the satisfaction of winning" Amy said through her tears.

We all looked at her and nodded. Herobrine and I then walked over and held onto the other four, as the dizzy feeling of teleporting washed over me. In a split second we were back in the Nether. We were in Ellie's room. We laid her on her bed. Her now grey cold face was stiff. Entity and Amy stayed holding onto her, their tears now silently falling onto her skin.

Everyone was silent. We didn't know what to say or do.

But then I had an idea, something came to mind and even though I had never done it before I knew I could do it. I had to do it.

I walked quickly over to the other and placed my hand on Ellie's wound.

"Y/n, what are you doing?" Amy asked weakly.

"I'm... going to try something. I... don- don't get high hopes this may not work but I need you all to stand back." I said as I looked at them all.

They nodded and Null then brought Amy into an embrace and Entity stood beside them and Herobrine.

I looked down at my hands and closed my eyes imagining what was hopefully going to happen.

I opened my eyes and saw a bright light blue glow coming from my hands covering Ellie with the glow.

Eventually the glow vanished and I looked at Ellie, she wasn't moving. With disappointment and feeling drained from using my power I looked at the others.

Herobrine was on his knees with his hands covering his head, with worry I walked quickly over to them.

~Herobrine's POV ~

As soon as Y/n used her power I felt it, that unbearable pain the prophecy warned me about.

I fell to my knees as the pain ran though my head, clouding my mind. I couldn't think properly and I felt as though I couldn't breathe. My heart raced as this pain worse than death invaded. And as soon as it came, it was gone. I looked back up towards Y/n, only now she was coming towards me.

~Notch's POV ~

I was waiting for it I sat in my office trying to prepare for this pain worse than death that the prophecy had warned us about but honestly, nothing could have prepared me for the pain I felt. I felt as though my head was going to explode. It felt like burning, like fire was rushing through my head and yet after it was over i somehow seemed to laugh.

I laughed until my stomach hurt as Alex and Steve ran into my office.

"Sir are you alright, what's wrong?" Steve asked coming to assist me, helping me stand from my chair.

"Everything is fine Steve" I said as I placed my hand on his shoulder.

"Better than fine, I've found it, the weapon I so desperately need to defeat my little brother" I continued.

~Y/n's POV ~

"Are you okay? What happened? What did I do?" I asked panicked, tears brimming my eyes.

It took him a while to respond, his breaths were heavy and deep and he looked into my eyes with worry.

He then stood up and held onto my shoulders as he said, "I'm fine, bu-" 

Before Herobrine could finish his sentence we heard a familiar voice come from Ellie's direction.

{Hello hello everyone! I'm sorry I have been gone a while and I may be gone a while after this chapter as well. I have exams over the next four weeks so I will be focusing heavily on those. I don't know if this is a little short, I've been working on it for a while, I had an idea where it was going but also didn't know what to write.
