"It's never too late."

I heard his voice say as he held onto my hand, I stood there frozen and then I slowly turned around to see him trying to sit up. I rushed to help him and then sat in front of him on the bed.

When he when he was comfortable he looked at me, those bright white eyes glowing at mine, "Y/n I wanted to tell you sooner but things got in the way. I... have never met a human that has been able to escape Notch's grasp and captivate me... until you. I knew that you would have been able to save me, you were the only one who possessed the powers of the forbidden Valley, I knew from the start and I told Nancy, that's why she told you to go with Null and Entity. I wanted you to figure out more about yourself  and you had to do that on your own. I've promised to protect you but I never imagined you'd also protect me. Within the time we've known each other, we've grown close to one another and I found myself wanting more of your presence... i feel like I've known you my entire life and I thank you for treating me with the kindness no other human has shown me before."

He finished and while he was saying this our heads seemed to moved closer together until our lips were inches away from each other. We were both Lost ion a trance in each other's eyes.

Suddenly the doors the infirmary burst open and we jumped away from each other. Coming into the infirmary, the twins along with Entity and Null ran towards us. All of them tackling Herobrine into a hug.

"Oh my Nether, you're awake!", said Amy.

"The antidote worked!", Ellie said shortly after Amy.

"We thought we lost you for a minute Herobrine", Null said looking at him.

"Well I'm here now, and I'm ready to get back to work", Herobrine said getting out of bed.

We all walked out of the infirmary and split off in separate ways, Herobrine, Null and Entity walked in the direction of Herobrine's office and Ellie, Amy and I walked towards the library. While walking away I looked back at the three of them as Herobrine looked back at us.

I smiled warmly and he mouthed, "I'll see you soon."

I nodded and carried on walking to the library.

When we to t the library we sat down while Amy and Ellie carried on a conversation but I wasn't listening, I couldn't help thinking about what Herobrine said. I must have been out o it for a while because the next thing i know Ellie was shaking me.

'Y/N!", she shouted.

"Wow, what's wrong?" I asked.

"We were talking to you and you were just staring off into the distance, are you okay?", Amy asked.

"Yeah... I'm fine, I'm just really tired i mean i have been awake for quite some time." I said.

"I think i just going to go to bed, just wake me when dinners ready, okay" I said as I got up from where I was sitting.

"Okay, sleep well", they both said in unison.

Once i got to my room i fell face first on to my bed, i could hardly keep my eyes open. I guess the adrenaline of trying to save Herobrine wore off because i was drifting further and further into sleep. At least everything is fixed for now hopefully everything gets back to some normality, then I remembered what Herobrine told me in the infirmary and the butterflies in my stomach fluttered with joy, as i finally fell asleep.

Herobrine's POV

Null, Entity and I walked quickly back to the library, we had finished up a few outstanding documents that need to be signed immediately. No breaks for the God of the Nether, eve after you've been in a dangerous coma. When we got to the library I realised Y/n wasn't there.
