HOOR POV:
In the dim light filtering through the curtains, I stirred, my eyelids heavy with sleep. As I reached out to rub the drowsiness from my eyes, a soft sigh escaped me. Something felt warm and solid against my back, hindering my attempt to sit up. Confusion clouded my mind until I glanced down and froze.
His arm, strong and comforting, was wound securely around my waist. My initial shock gave way to a rush of heat flooding my cheeks as I realized his other arm cradled my head, not the pillow I had assumed. Our legs were entangled, adding to the intimacy of the moment.
A gasp escaped me, barely audible, as I turned my head to steal a glance at him. His peaceful sleeping face, relaxed and serene, contrasted sharply with the whirlwind of emotions within me. I bit my lip, torn between wanting to extricate myself from this unexpected closeness and being captivated by his tranquil presence.
As I attempted to gently ease his arm away, his grip tightened instinctively, pulling me closer against him. His voice, rough from sleep, sent shivers down my spine as he murmured, "Don't. Stay." His warm breath tickled my neck as he nestled closer, peppering soft kisses along the sensitive skin, eliciting a flutter in my chest.
Internally, I panicked, feeling a rush of adrenaline at his proximity. I poked at his arm lightly, trying to convey my need for space. "Um, can you let go of me? I..." My words faltered as he swiftly shifted, positioning himself above me, his gaze intense and unreadable.
Confusion clouded my thoughts as I searched his eyes for answers. "I think last night I told you very well that I am not going to let you go," he stated firmly, his tone leaving no room for argument. My heart raced, unsure of how to respond to his declaration.
Before I could voice my thoughts, he continued, "You, my angel, listen and listen well. I am not going to leave, no matter what. So you better stop..." His words trailed off as I placed a hand over his mouth, a mixture of disbelief and amusement coloring my expression. I shook my head, attempting to convey my need to use the bathroom.
His eyebrow raised in realization, and he released me, settling back beside me with a curious gaze. I took a deep breath, feeling a strange mix of relief and lingering tension in the air. Grabbing my dupatta, I slid out of bed, aware of his eyes following my every move, leaving me with a whirlwind of emotions as I made my way to the bathroom.
My heart started to beat fast as I blushed, I hurriedly went into the bathroom when I couldn't stand his gaze anymore. I looked at the door as my hands were trembling badly and were also cold. I looked at myself in the mirror for a while, I suddenly remembered that I was not having any nightmares since the therapy started to which I was really glad because I was finally ready to move on from my past. I also noticed that I didn't panicked like I thought I would be when he came near me.
As I stood in front of the bathroom mirror, the remnants of last night's intimacy lingered on my lips, causing a shy smile to play on them. I couldn't help but recall the tender moments shared with him, a shiver of excitement running down my spine at the memory.
As I splashed the cool water on my face, the memories of last night flooded my mind, bringing a shy smile to my lips. I traced my fingers over my lips, reliving the warmth and intensity of his kisses. A shiver of excitement ran down my spine as I recalled the passion we shared.
With a deep breath, I forced myself to focus and washed my face, trying to calm the nervous flutter in my stomach. Stepping out of the bathroom, I found him sitting on the bed, his handsome features highlighted in the soft light. Our eyes met, and I felt a rush of emotions, trying to compose myself as he stood up.
