HOOR POV:"Saira!! You are putting too much." I winced while trying to get away from her. But she grabbed me with both hands and glared at making me huff at her and made a face.
I was about to do my makeup when Saira came beside me saying that she wanted to do my makeup so being the good girl I was I agreed and let her do whatever she wanted but then I start regretting it.
"Shut up Hoor, I didn't even put anything besides a little concealer." My mouth fell open and I looked at the reflection in the mirror and then back at her. She put her hands over her waist and gave me a stare.
"This is little?!"
"So what do you suggest? Does that go on a function with a bare face?? Nah sweet heart now you are not that pretty to go out like that." She shakes her head before further saying.
"Now do me a favor and keep that mouth of yours shut and let me do my work."
Today was Mehndi and Mayon's function. Everyone was getting ready. All the girls were in one large room doing each other makeup. The music was soft but loud.
Every girl's hands were filled with henna. I looked down at my hands seeing the color of my henna and smiled to myself before frowning. I formed my hands in a fist and tears threatened to come in my eyes making me blink. I looked around to see if anyone was looking my way before taking a deep breath and putting a smile on my face.
All the members of my family were here beside him. He couldn't come because of his duties to say I was disappointed when I heard that.
I just wanted him to come so I could for once see him. Just for once I was not asking for too much now.

•"Here you go, now look at yourself." Saira's voice made snapped out of my thoughts and I blinked my eyes before giving a smile to her. I get up from my seat and walked toward the large mirror to look at myself.
When I looked at myself in the mirror, My eyes flickered and I gesture to her that the makeup was good. She did good work. My makeup was simply the way I like it.
But when I looked at my eyes in the mirror and I saw a broken girl, who didn't have any hopes, who had a lot of scars, those scars that could never fade away. I didn't realize that I was staring at myself when
"I know I did well no need to compliment but please stop staring at yourself like a freak and now do my makeup." I rolled my eyes at her and forced a smile on my lips deciding that I will not think about those things to run my moment, I take a deep breath and told her I would be doing her makeup.
"There you go." I smile back at her and nodded in satisfaction.
After a while when we both get fully ready. "Let go and see Eman," Saira said while putting on her earrings. I nodded to her and grabbed my dupatta before walking out with her.
We both were walking while talking when Saira bumped into my brother. She mumbled 'Sorry' and backed away from him. She was rubbing her forehead when she looked up and her eyes widen. I bit my lips when I saw Saira and my brother's reactions.
"You look beautiful," Azlan said looking lost at her making me put my hand on my lips to stop myself from bursting out. Saira blushed hard and looked down at her hands.
I cleared my throat. They both broke their eye contact and looked at me looking completely lost. I looked at them with my eyebrow raised while crossing my arm I tried hard to control my smile when.
