𝐡𝐨𝐠𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐬 ;; 𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐬

𝗫𝗠𝗔𝗦 𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟!!!

It was Christmas. The day I had been waiting for the second I arrived at Hogwarts. Christmas' here at Hogwarts we're always so magical and cheery. It was one of the few days that we could forget about everything and just engulfed in our happiness. It felt wonderful. Even Harry Potter, with all his stresses about You-Know-Who and everything that came with being the said most famous person in all of The Wizarding World, could feel the magic of Christmas at Hogwarts. air was absolutely wonderful.

"Y/N! Y/N, come here!" I had finally waken up from my 12 hour slumber to respond to whichever voice was calling me. Yes, a 12 hour slumber. Dumbledore wanted us to get as much sleep as possible because, he made it clear that he had something very special planned. I got out of bed with aching eyes. Must mean I got great sleep. 

"Good morning Mione," I found the voice who had called me out of my sleep. "Merry Christmas!"

The bushy haired girl gave a me a cheesy grin and motioned for me to sit down next to her. Us Gryffindors were crowded around a pile of presents as chaos took form. We were attempting to figure out who's present was who's. Familiar red hair flew around in a blur; the Weasley's moving so fast that I could barely make out their faces, a head of raven black hair trying to keep up with all the commotion going on around it, and much much more. People could say this was absolutely disastrous, and try to keep away from the situation but, I was definitely not one of those people.

"Come one, Y/N! Everyone's gotten you a present!" One of the twins yelled for me. I believe it was Fred that told me. It would've been bloody embarrassing if it was George. I simply nodded and smiled. Wait. Everyone? Presents? Everyone has gotten me a present? I needed a moment to process what he'd just said. The most presents I've ever had on Christmas is maybe... seven? That year my cousins and siblings decided they didn't want anything, so automatically, the adults turned to me to shower with gifts. Of course they were all jealous so the presents I had received were stolen by them just a few days after I'd gotten them. 

I quickly hurried to where everyone one else's was and saw at least 15 boxes and bags with my name on them. Everyone in Gryffindor has gotten me a present. I wasn't even friends with half of them; not like I had anything against anyone, but we hadn't really talked much. I was so grateful. I was oh, so grateful. The first box I opened had been from Neville, it contained a small bracelet with charms that resembled plants. I adored it so much. On the box it had a small note saying, 'A charm for charms :)' I chuckled at the gesture. I assumed this was for the time I helped him study for a very important Charms test. 

As I opened more and more presents, I saw more and more notes thanking me for small acts of service I had performed. The one reason I had gotten so many gifts was because I as just  decent person? Luna Lovegood was about the nicest soul I'd ever encountered and I don't reckon the same thing happened to her. I softly nudged Ron so that I could maybe get an answer as to why so many people had given me these things, and remembered one random favor I had done for them. That was not very successful.

"Ron! Ron!" I whisper shouted at him. When his eyes met mine, he looked at me like I was insane.

"What?"

"Do you know why I have so many gifts? It's quite confusing and-"

"Well bloody hell, do you really think I would know?" To this I playfully rolled my eyes and continued opening my new treasures. 

At last, I had reached the last one. It was a small box with hardly any weight. Not that I was complaining. The smallest things usually have the most value. I opened the box to see a note which read, 'come to the astronomy tower at 5 :)'

What's up with all the smiley faces?

The astronomy tower? What an odd place to meet. The only person I knew of who liked to visit the astronomy tower was Draco Malfoy and, we didn't talk much. Weirdly, the two of us were friends yet, we didn't have much time to socialize with one another.

=============TIME SKIP===========

It was Five o' Clock now. Time to meet whoever needed me at the Tower. It felt quite thrilling honestly. Meeting a mystery person at the most beautiful place in the school seemed wonderful. As I made my way to the Tower, I heard lots of chattering. I couldn't make out anything anyone was saying but, as I got nearer to the Astronomy Tower, the louder the voices got. As I turned a corner into the room I saw lots and lots of students with large smiles on their faces. Why?

"MERRY CHRISTMAS Y/N!" They yelled in symphony. There were Gryffindors, Hufflepuffs, Slytherins, Ravenclaws all in the astronomy tower in a crowd in front of me. It was the most confusing sight. Suddenly, Draco and Harry were in front of me, holding... hands? THAT MEANS HERMIONE OWES ME 10 GALLEONS-

so you'll never really find out why every thing happened bc i ran out of ideas sooo :D but anyways, i'm very sorry for posting so late, i was really busy today (ofc i celebrated christmas) and for some reason something told me i wouldn't have to spend time with other people and idk where i got that idea but that is NOT what happened-
