"I still don't understand-"
"What part of it do you not understand? I was sent down to Earth to help you but the mission kind of backfired so I had to bring you here."
Jimin had so many questions even though he knew not all of them are going to be answered, "So you don't want to kill me?"
"You," Stammered Yoongi, "Are officially the dumbest person I've ever got a mission with."
Jimin stared at him blankly.
"For goodness sake, of course I don't want to kill you, the whole point of my job is to make sure that doesn't happen," The angel explained.
"Oh," Jimin realized, his face growing red in embarrassment.
"Any more questions? Or are we done here so that I can take you to the palace-"
Jimin stopped him, "But why can't you just bring me home. Like you know, create one of those.. things."
"Portals," Yoongi corrected.
"Same thing. And bring me home?"
Yoongi chuckled for the first time, "It doesn't work that way. I can't just tell you all of this and trust you to say nothing. You tried to kill me, how can I trust you?"
"Can you," Jimin squirmed to get rid of the cloth around his hands and feet, "Can you at least untie me, you know. So we can go to the palace?"
"Maybe later," Yoongi shrugged and looked back a disappointed Jimin. He really couldn't bother, "And who says we are walking?"
"What do you mean?"
Yoongi then stood up onto the ground and closed his eyes, his eyelashes fluttering because of the light. He slowly opened up his arms.
Jimin observed the scene carefully and gasped.
Yoongi took in a breath as his wings slowly emerged from behind. Almost having the span of twice as Jimin's height. They were so white that they could blend into the clouds.
Usually, in the angel world, dominance was usually defined by how large their wings were. Jimin didn't know, but Yoongi's wings were one of the rarest, having small smudges of black on the tips of his feathers. But from behind all of his feathers looked white.
Before Jimin could awe, he felt the cloth around his arms and feet unwrapping.
"I thought you didn't trust me."
Yoongi brought his wings closer to his body so that they don't take up that much space, "I still don't. But I have no choice. But I trust you enough to believe you won't run since you already know the consequences."
Jimin gulped.
The angel walked towards Jimin and got down on one knee, almost bowing, "Get on."
"B-But how an I supposed to get on," All of this was happening a bit to sudden for him. He was on his bed, sleeping a couple minutes ago. But now he had to choose whether to fly or not.
"Jimin, I don't have time for this. Just get on. Make yourself comfortable if you want."
Jimin was anxious. Yoongi was being welcoming, but he could also drop Jimin into a lake if he wanted too. And besides, Jimin didn't want embarrass himself by touching the angel too much. He was awfully clingy sometimes without even realizing it.
"I seriously look stupid sitting like this. So get on, or I'm leaving."
Jimin nodded hesitantly and literally jumped on top of Yoongi's back like he was giving him a piggy back ride.
