Mission: Serendipity

"Hoseok, can we talk for a second?"

The wizard stopped, a bit shocked at the request since Yoongi shooed him off when he came by earlier.

The angel didn't waste anymore time and just blurted everything out.

"I think I might be in love with Jimin."

This thought was lingering in his mind for a long time, but saying it directly, out loud made him feel a certain way. 

Hoseok froze, "You.."

"I'm a guardian angel," Yoongi continued, "But Namjoon somehow managed to convince me that I have feelings for him, so do you know how this is possible?"

Yoongi noticed the hesitant look on Hoseok's face, "Do you know something I don't?"

"You can't have feelings for him," Hoseok stated, his plan backfired. Completely. Instead of getting rid of those feelings it just.. ugh.

Fuck you Namjoon.

"Why?" Yoongi remarked.

"It isn't possible," Hoseok answered in a stern tone.

"But what if it is-"

"Stop. You can't fall in love with him, he'll have his memories erased. And he's a human for goodness sake-"

Yoongi raised an eyebrow, "So I did fall in love with him?"

"You-"

"You aren't telling me something, explain," Yoongi interrupted in a stern tone.

Hoseok sighed, "I knew it."

"You knew what?"

"About your feelings for Jimin, about everything.." The wizard looked away.

"Wait, I don't understand."

"Of course you don't, you don't know anything," Hoseok groaned, "Remember you came to me about this certain pain in your chest?"

Yoongi let his mind wander, "But that was a long time ago."

"I know," Said Hoseok, "Remember how I gave you a potion? And how you immediately started to feel better?"

"Yes," Yoongi nodded, not knowing where Hoseok was going with this.

"That was a love potion."

Yoongi stopped him.

"What??" He exclaimed, "Is that why I had feelings for Jimin?? So everything's just because of that stupid potion-"

"Can you calm down for a second??" Yelled Hoseok, "I gave you that potion because that was the only way you won't feel pain."

"But why a love potion?"

"Because you were in love with Jimin way back then you idiot. Way before. When you actually couldn't feel love. The only reason you were hurting is because you loved him, because you shouldn't be able to feel that. But you did. So the previous spell was trying to prevent you from falling for him, but it just wouldn't work so you ended up getting hurt."

Hoseok felt like he was saying the same thing over and over, "If I didn't give you that potion, your feelings would grow and you eventually wouldn't be able to handle the pain. And then you would..."

There was a silence.

"Die.." Yoongi finished his sentence, "Th-This is just too much to take in. I can't believe-"

"It's only hard because your idiotic self won't take it in," Hoseok snapped, "It's simple, it's so simple. You loved him so much that nothing could hold you back. This wasn't supposed to happen."
