Miyoung:

After remembering my past, I woke up early to leave the house and get to school as early as possible. My brother takes the bus every day and I occasionally take the bus, so I don't have to worry about him. I would either walk (if I have a lot of time), ride my bike (which I don't do often), or take a taxi which is my go-to. Sometimes my parents would drop both my brother and I off, but it's very rare since they leave the house before him and I even wake up. However, today, I woke up at exactly 5am. I took a shower because I was most likely sweating in my sleep and I also woke up with a cold sweat and I felt gross. After my shower, I brushed my teeth, put on my uniform, and left my house.

The first thing I did was run to the convenience store and grab something to eat. The store wasn't close by so I got there at around 6:30am. My boss greeted me and told me I don't have a shift today but I told him that I was getting something to eat. I bought bread, triangle kimbap, baked eggs, and grape juice. I paid for the food and ate on one of the tables in the store. I could tell my boss was confused.

"If I didn't leave right now, I would be late for school." I make up an excuse and he believes me, sighing in relief.

"I thought you got in a fight with your parents." He holds his chest and laughs. I smile slightly and continue eating my small breakfast.

"I'll be here if you need anything. Start screaming if someone is attacking you." He jokes and I let out a small laugh, nodding and rolling my eyes.

After I finished my food, since I'm a slow eater, it took me about 20 minutes so now it was 6:50am. I asked my boss if I could hang out in the back of the store and he agreed. I decided to charge my phone and look at my math notes since I have a test today. However, my mind couldn't stop thinking about what happened in middle school. I went to middle school in Daegu, and now I'm in Seoul, so nobody really knows who I am. I deleted my Instagram account last night because I remembered that maybe someone can find it and use it to message me and remind me of what happened. I shake my head and lightly slap my cheeks, paying attention to my notes.

I knew that it was time to leave the convenience store and start walking to school when I heard students coming in. I came out from the back of the store and said goodbye to my boss. When I left, I immediately put on my headphones and listened to my favorite music to distract myself from the world around me. It was 7:05am and it's a 10 minute walk from the convenience store to school so I just take my time. Even though I try to arrive to school at around 7:20-7:30am, I'm okay with arriving as early as 7:10 sometimes. In that time, there's nobody there and I can relax and put my head down.

Once I got to school, I was excited and happy that the hallways were clear and I could walk to my classroom without being bombarded by all the guys and girls. I skipped to my classroom and entered it smiling, looking at all of the empty seats. It was still pretty dark but I could tell that the sun was about to rise. I sit in my desk near the window and put all of my things away. I still had my headphones in so I rested my head on my arms and watched the sunrise. Soon it was almost time for class so I took off my headphones and turned off my phone, putting it in my backpack and taking out my notebook and pencil case. Thankfully, my desk mate got moved to another class and I'm getting a new one today. I don't want to have high hopes, but I hope it's someone who is serious so I don't have to talk to them.

Soon, the clock hit 8am and everyone was rushing to their seats. The teacher came in with a tall guy and I sighed. He's probably my next desk mate and he looks like he's going to talk a whole lot. I rest my head on my hand and look out the window, looking at the sky and how beautiful it is.

"This is Jung Sungchan. He will be replace Han Chanseok's seat next to Miyoung." My teacher points to the empty seat next to me and he walks up to me and sits down. He waves at me and I don't do anything. He sighs and takes out his notebook. Hopefully he's quiet, I think to myself.
