Chapter 20: Keiji and Akashi

Previously on the trio

"Now that I think of it it's been such a long time since we met..." Skye said as she put her head on Ryan's shoulder.

"Yea... It's been a long time... Let's go back to school before they think we went missing." Ryan said looking at Skye.

Skye nodded. They stood up and walked back to school swinging their hands.

Keiji was sitting on the ledge at the rooftop at an building she had found. She started to think about her brother and the torturous life they led to become who they want to be.

Crying, screaming, shouting, pain... all part of the childhood growing up.

Flashback
Akashi-11 Keiji-9
In a forest that the Seijurō family owns their father released a bunch of monsters to roam the lands for akashi and keiji to kill as practice.

Their personal trainer, Tyson said,” I’m giving the both of you until dusk to kill all 10 magical beasts now GO!”

Akashi and Keiji swiftly moved around the forest doing their best to fight the magical beasts. Akashi killed 5 Keiji killed 4 the last one was the most powerful one that had been hiding and watching them.

The siblings met up and started searching for the last one. They both knew that someone was watching them but couldn’t quite figure out where they were. They heard a small crunch from the leaves on the ground, their eyes met and knew exactly what they were gonna do.

Disappearing into thin air Akashi suddenly pounced on the last magical beast while holding its neck down keiji was about to finish it off when a women in her early thirties suddenly appeared behind them. The magical beast tried to use this as its chance to escape and launched its body towards the lady making akashi fall back.

It bit the lady’s arm off and she started screaming. Keiji being the kind hearted girl she was ran towards the women and tried to protect her. Akashi immediately stood on his feet and grabbed the magical beast’s legs to trip it he took out a special engraved knife and stuck it deep into its  heart.

Suddenly tyson had appeared behind them with a few other guards.

“Good job finishing off all 10 monster but now we have to execute this women for trespassing on private property,” Tyson announced.

“No! Please don’t! I don’t think she means any harm!” Keiji begged.

“I’m sorry Young master but these are the rules,” one of the guards pulled Keiji back from the women but keiji kicked him away from her and went straight to protect the women who was crying while holding onto her long gone arm.

Before she could reach her they all heard a voice. “ What are you doing Keiji.” They turned to find the head of the house, Akashi and keiji’s father.

When Akashi and Keiji saw him they immediately stopped and started at him with fear in their eyes. Father’s personal butler picked Keiji up and brought her back to the mansion.

Keiji was locked up in the room full of torture equipment. She was trembling with fear as the sky grew darker and darker. The room was build out of stone as they were in the basement and she could see the room grow darker and darker due to the lack of light outside.

The door opened and her father walked in with His butler. He then said,” What did i tell you about the rules and respecting your trainer, i cannot let this slide, i cannot ignore the fact that you would try and protect a trespasser... i expected better from you...” He started hitting her with a wimp that weights about 10 kg. Keiji whimpered and cried as she was scared she was going to scream from the pain. Each time she screamed the harder her father will hit.

It went on for about an hour before they stopped, Keiji was left there bruised and bleeding. She was then carried by the maids into bathroom to clean up her wounds and take a short shower. Little did she know in the room beside the room she had been in for the past hour sat Akashi crying as he heard his little sister scream and cry from the pain, he was angry that he couldn’t do anything to protect her.

After she was done with her bath they were going to apply ointment but then akashi came in and said he would do it. Keiji’s head was dropping every now and then as she was exhausted. Akashi applied it as gently as possible on the wounds hopping that it won’t hurt her anymore then it already did. He then tucked her in laid next to her and whispered,”your bud brother will protect you for as long as he lives i promise you that.”

The maids that were outside listening,
“What poor things...” one of them said. They all nodded and quickly left before anyone found them.

Flashback End

Keiji smiled at all the memories whether good or bad, she and her brother had been through a lot together.
