Chapter 5: The Kiss

Hope then looked at Josie and said to her , " Hey... I heard what you said this morning."

*Flashback to this morning

"I like you Hope..." Josie whispered.

Flashback end.

Hope then fell asleep , little did she know that Josie was fake sleeping...

The peaceful night went by and it was the next day. Josie and the others woke up to a cooling morning breeze. Skye and Ryan had already bought breakfast for everyone, fresh cups of milk and warm bread were place on the table and everyone digged in. As they were peacefully eating their breakfast, Josie suddenly remembered what happen last night. She blushed a bright shade of red as she recalled what Hope said.

THATS SO EMBARASINGG, Josie thought internally she hoped that Hope completely forgot about what she said. Hope interrupted her chain of thoughts "Are you okay? Why is your face so red? Do you have a fever?" Josie shooked her head a little before quickly excusing herself to use the washroom. The rest of the day everyone was relaxing and doing whatever they liked. Skye, Emma and Ryan were watching Josie the whole day to ensure that she wouldn't do anything rash.

Soon it was dinner time and everyone gathered at the dinner table to enjoy the spread that they bought from a restaurant. They took out the dessert that they found in the refrigerator and sat down to enjoy a game of 'Truth of Dare'

"Okay people , this is gonna be the highlight of the day " Emma said with a smug look on her face. "Who wants to go first?"

"i'm gonna make you strip naked and run around the building if you do anything bad to me you dimwit.'
Skye stuck out her tongue at her sister.

Everyone started laughing as Emma started chasing her sister around. They begun the game and it started off with Emma daring Ryan to lick the kitchen's basin. It went a few round before it came to Josie's turn. It was Skye's turn to give a dare. She thought about it when her face started to bream with excitement. She knew exactly what she was gonna do.

"Josie, truth or dare?"

Josie trying to act brave again and chose dare not knowing what special events were coming up next. "Josie I dare you to KISS hope."

Skye's POV
HOHO this is gonna be good. Josie had shown obvious signs that she likes Hope, this is gonna be the perfect opportunity to make a move. Even though I'm supposed to watch after you, I'm still gonna help with your love life , if she continued to act like that and not make a move its gonna be completely useless.

Once again Josie had turned a bright shade of red," W-W-What do y-you mean?" Josie started panicking and was unsure of what to do. She wanted to run away and jump off a building from all the embarrassment. But before she had anytime to react she felt a pair of lips pressed against her lips. She was in shock when she realised that Hope had kissed her and just froze before kissing her back.

Even Hope couldn't believe that she had just done that and they both pulled away to see Emma giggling, Ryan had a smirk on his face while Skye had taken out a camera and managed to capture the moment.
Hope and Josie turned away and becomes so embarrassed.

Ah Young love, thought the other even though their age weren't that far apart.
