3/3/19

The white noise of muffled rain pattering down on the roof of the two storied house made the atmosphere sleepy and peaceful, two things that Zak really liked to defy.

Darryl held up a card to Zak, who had to answer the question that was on it correctly, they were trying to work on his manners a bit more.

"Hmmm." Zak took the card from the brunette boys hand and read it closely, 'What do you say when you ask for something?' Zak placed the card down on his lap rather dramatically, sloppily turning his head towards the other. "Shouldn't we just give up on teaching me this kinda stuff by now?" Zak asked as Darryl gave him an unamused look. "Just answer the question you muffinhead."

Zak swung his head back and groaned loudly which was followed by obnoxious, fake crying. "Wait no I'm sorry!" The tall teen immediately sprung out of his chair, unsure of what to do. Zak stopped fake crying and started laughing instead, shaking the table he was sitting on. "I was joking! Don't you worry!" Darryl let out a sigh of annoyance and pinched the bridge of his nose, which made Zak laugh more as he has completed his goal.

"The answer is 'Please'." Zak responded finally, crossing his arms and sticking his tongue out at Darryl who just rolled his eyes.

They sat comfortable silence for a while as Darryl picked out another card for Zak to answer as said boy swung his legs back and forth in the air. The raven haired boy glanced at Darryl and smirked, an idea popping in his head.

The chocolate eyed boy hopped off the desk and swung the chair Darryl was sitting on to face him. He looked at Zak confused but before he could even utter a word he was being taken by the hand and before he knew it Darryl was standing out in the back porch as Zak giddily squirmed around in his spot, unable to contain his excitement. "Zak, what on Earth are you doing?" Darryl watched as Zak chuckled and yanked on his hand once more, pulling him into the rain. The taller boy yelled as the cold liquid hit his head and clothes, sending shivers down his spine. "Zak! Why- what are you doing!?" He yelled and pulled on the other boys grasp but he eventually gave in as he knew he wasn't going to let him sort free anytime soon.

They stopped running and had reached the middle of the backyard, puddles were littered everywhere and both Zak and Darryl were starting to get drenched. The small boy held out his free hand and watched as a few raindrops made a little pool in his hand, which he threw at Darryl's face. As the younger teen chuckled, Darryl flung water from the tips of his fingers at Zak's face. "Oh, this is war." He announced.

Zak splashed a near by puddle at Darryl resulting in his pants being drenched. The taller teen did the same with the advantage of a bigger puddle and bigger feet which ended with Zak's entire black hoodie being effected. They played in the rain for ages, the water fight had no clear winner and honestly the boys didn't care, they were having too much fun.

Zak ran into the small shed they had, flinging his wet hair out of his eyes as he leaned down and picked up a water gun from a box they had in there.

'Oh yeah, that twink is going down.'

He quickly filled it with a bottle of water they had in the shed and burst out back into the rain, armed and loaded. Darryl turned his attention to Zak, he was holding his hands out in a little cup to do the same thing Zak did first which started this whole fight.

"Oh no..." Darryl muttered under his breathe. As soon as Zak lifted the water gun up at him Darryl ran from the waters aim, but it just wasn't enough. Immediately he got hit because he can't run for shit.

They chased eachother around for ages, messing about and having fun. Soon Darryl was chasing Zak. Just as the brunette had turned his head to look behind him, Zak had stopped running and turned around to face Darryl. As Darryl looked back he collided with Zak and fell to the ground, Darryl held out his arms as to protect himself and Zak.
