POV: Third person

Bad clutched onto the strap of his backpack swung over his shoulder and adjusted the glasses he'd just placed on his face after his father drove off. The brunette stood in front of the Ahmed's door, nervous to actually knock on the door.

'Zak is just a friend, you don't like him at all, just a friend.'

Bad took a deep and long breathe before letting it all out, he finally stepped forward and knocked on the door. Samira opened it up, greeting Bad with a smile and letting him into the house. "Zak's in his room, per usual." Bad simply nodded and gave a soft smile in response, walking up the stairs.

Once he had reached his designation, a wallowing feeling in his gut hung low and unsettled the conflicted boy. He fought with himself to open the door but eventually he bite down on his fears and knocked, waiting for no response and just opening the door cause heavens knows if he lingered for just a moment longer he would've walked right back home.

Zak sat there in his chair, pen in hand and mouth while one foot rested itself on top of the desk. Zak looked up at his Bad and smiled, removing the pen from his mouth and getting up to give his friend a hug.

Bad didn't hug back, instead he froze and let Zak hug him with his arms pinned to his sides. "Uh hey, are you alright?" Zak queried as he pulled away, trying to hold Bad's hands. "Ah! I'm perfectly fine actually! Hahaha..." Bad quickly moved over to the desk and faced away from Zak, his face burning up and looking like a strawberry.

'Deep breathes Bad, come on, deep breathes.'

Bad inhaled and exhaled rather softly, closing his eyes for any sense of relaxation. "Alright, let's just get to our work." Zak scrunched up his face in confusion but just shrugged, sitting back down in his chair. Bad pulled up one of his own and sat down, bringing out all the work as per usual.

He placed it down, Zak tilted his head slightly in confusion, "I thought we were gonna go to the park...hmm doesn't matter." The smaller boy simply shrugged, reaching over to grab the right tools for the lesson.
Bad suddenly became entranced, carefully watching as Zak grabbed his pen and twirled it around his fingers effortlessly. The sun perfectly reflected and bounced off of his hair and his eyes glided over the papers that were just before plopped down onto the desk.

Bad felt as if he could watch for hours, then he suddenly realised what he was doing and tore his eyes away, chastising himself for his actions and oh so pink face. Zak looked over and motioned for the boy to do his normal tutor thing. Bad jumped aback slightly, giving a soft nervous chuckle before getting right into explaining their long work ahead of them.

As Bad went in explaining things like patience, he looked over and noticed Zak staring outside. He was about to scold him before he heard him chuckle, watching as the smile on his lips grew and curved more across his face which sent a whole party of butterflies and rushing thoughts to Bad. Zak raised his hand, pointing at something outside,
"there's two birds playing!" Zak exclaimed, followed by a few more laughs. Bad flickered his attention to the birds for a moment seeing two small birds messing about in the tree just outside Zak's window, one blue and one red.

"They kinda remind me of us, don't ya think?" Zak said and turned over to his friend who only blinked in response. Bad finally nodded after a long pause, quickly turning back to Zak's work.

Zak huffed, Bad was acting stranger than usual and it was starting to upset him a little bit, he just wanted his Badboyhalo. Soon his glum thoughts disappeared and a smile returned back to his face, a plan now in mind.
