It's now February 1st, 2015. Months had passed, but it felt like years. I'm currently 5 months pregnant, which means I'm craving less food and becoming more exhausted. I told my co-workers and manager that I might be considering quitting my job and moving on to a career, which is just another cover-up that I'll be having a baby. At college, they gave me a month's break, giving me notes and lessons online in the meantime.

I flipped through the channels for anything to watch. Late shows were either good or bad.
I heard a familiar knock at the door, me and Sean's rhythm of "1-2-3....1-2-3". I lifted my tired body off the couch and trudged to the door. I opened it to see a smiling Sean with a bottle of whiskey in his hand.

"Thought I might save ya some." He slumps on the couch, setting the bottle on the coffee table.

"Sean, I'm not poisoning our baby with alcohol. And Sean, you left at 7 and now it's 11. What happened?" I crossed my arms. "And you have a black eye and a bloody nose-"

"It's nothing," he waves his hand. "Just got into a little fight, that's all."

"That's all?" I dragged myself to the bathroom and came back with tissues. "I thought Daithi was with you."

"He was. Long story short, me and him got into an argument and well... I got the short-end of the stick." He rubs his neck.

I wiped and dabbed his nose and upper-lip. "What about your videos? How will you explain that black-eye? You can't just tell your subscribers that you and Daithi fought, all of them will send hate to Daithi..."

"I don't know." He pushes my hand away. "I'm fine, really."

I gave him a little peck on the lips and stood up to get pickles and ice cream... yup, that tastes good for pregnant women. I stopped once I glanced at myself in the mirror. Did I really look this round? I lifted my shirt up, and faced the side. Great. All those days at schooll and I never noticed it...

"Don't worry about it." Sean massages my shoulders. "We're messed up monsters together. Look at me and look at you."

I felt offended, but he was right. He's looking on the bright side. "Yeah. Massage more on my collarbone please."
He rubs and rhythmically presses my muscles, cleansing any sore muscles I have. "Thanks, JackyBoy."

He kissed my neck. I rubbed my belly. That reminds me... what should we name her, or him? "Sean... what should we name our baby?"

"Oh... I haven't really thought about it before..." He scratches his head. "But maybe... Sam? For both genders?"

"I like that name." I cracked a smile.

He nodded. "Since I was little I wanted to name my kids that."

"That'll be nice." Strange- months ago we were scared shitless of having a baby...

"Why don't you go get some rest? You have school tomorrow."

"I have tomorrow off." I mischievously smirk.

"You little bugger." He starts jabbing my ribs, making me burst into a fit of laughter. He then helps off the floor and stares at me with full content. "Is it okay that we go have dinner every Sunday with my parents when we have the baby?"

"Of course. I'd like to meet your parents." My heart sank a little. I never really got this opportunity with my family.

"I've been talking to them about you." Sean squeals. "I know they'll love you."

I nodded, putting on a smile.

"What's wrong?" Sean asked. He knows when my smile's real or fake. I guess he's seen it plenty of times now.

"I've been thinking about my parents..." I mumbled, staring down at my belly.

"Autumn, you're not considering-"

"Yes, Sean. I've been thinking about visiting my parents one last time... And that's it. I swear." I dragged myself to the bedroom.

Sean followed. "How many years has it been?"

"Four solid years." I sighed, readjusting the bed.

"...They won't be happy when they..." Sean trailed off.

"Sean, this is my choice, my consequence." I pointed towards myself. "Besides, I'm sure they're still living in that broken-down house on the hill."

Sean worriedly glanced at me as I duck under the covers. "That's what I'm worried about- the consequence."

My only response is a grunt. Why am I doing this? Why do I want to visit with my parents? 'Hey mom and dad, I know you hate me, but I came to tell you you're becoming grandparents'?

"At least let me come with you." Sean held my hand tightly. "Please?"

I nodded. I guess I would like some company.

I woke up feeling nauseous. Today was the day. As I stirred up my coffee, Sean attacked me in a hug from behind. "Hey cuddle-buns!"

"Hey," I patted his back. "Well... we've got a day ahead of us."

"I already recorded and edited my videos. Just need to render and upload them." Sean yanked open the fridge, licking his lips.

"Oh..." My hands shook as I grasped the mug in my hands.

"Don't worry. I'll be there." Sean held my cold shaking hands into his.

We tracked down the house my parents own in a phone book. We drove onto a gravel road on the valley that lead into a field, accompanied by a big oak tree with a swing. The cabin was old and worn-down, but it still had it's sleek design. It was a very big cabin for only 3 people. Many memories, good and bad, sparked inside me.

Me and Sean cautiously walked up to the steps, eyeing the doors and windows. Instinctively, I held his hand.

"It seems like no one's here..." My heart pounded uncontrollably. I wanted to get out of here.

"I'll ring the doorbell. I can do the talking, if you'd like." Sean offered.

"Thanks, but this is something I must do." I took a deep breath and pressed the buzzer. I heard heavy footsteps made by clunky boots.

My breathing stopped once that shocked familiar face popped out of the door. I could tell he wanted me dead, gone, out of sight.
