Sean and I's relationship were much better after that. He sounded more cheerful and enthusiastic in his videos, and he barely mentions his girlfriend at all. He took my advice and blocked his girlfriend, turned off the notifications he got from her.
Both of us were much more happier. Of course, Sean and I still had our little breakdowns, but we reminded ourselves of who we've become- humans who've helped each other.
As of that result, I've grown more hobbies, been more fond of other people, and interacted more with the outside world. I think it's safe to say I'm back into my normal 15 year old self again.

"Uhm, Autumn?" Sean spoke after a minute of silence in the park.

I blinked after my daydreaming. I must've grinned like an idiot, because my cheeks are sore from thinking of those memories. "Yeah?"

"I don't know how to word this." Sean rubbed the ridge of his nose.

"Take your time."

"Well... I've been thinking about something for a very long time." Sean stuttered. "Do you... want to go to the local carnival, and then we can go to the cinema afterwards?"

"Why's that something to be nervous about?" I chuckled. "I'd love to do that!"

Sean smiled, but it quickly faded. He was nervous about something.

Later that week, we had fun at the carnival. We took photos and we ate fried chocolate bars. When the sun started sinking in the horizon, we headed over to the racing track, which held the seats to gaze at the fireworks above. As the fireworks exploded into sparkling shimmers of colours, I sensed a hand reaching towards my thigh.

I whipped my head towards the person sitting to my right, who was a teenager with a sophisticated look, completed with a leather jacket. His friends looked similar, although more innocent. Their hairstyles were pompadours, and they've been slicked with oil. It was like a pack of Greasers from the 50's.

"What do you think you're doing?" I slapped away his hand.

"I can't deny it." Him and his friends snickered.

"Hey," Sean grabbed my shoulder and pulled me in towards him. My heart fluttered. "Stay away."

"Or what?"

"What do you think?" Sean snapped. He put up a fist.

"Oh yeah, four of us can take on this leprechaun with his dumb little hat." His friends snickered more.

"May I ask, what are you doing dating this guy?" One of them added.

The lead teen quickly grabbed my thighs, proceeding to my private part.

Sean stood in front of me and pushed him away. He then accompanied it with a punch to the face.

His friends stepped back, and eventually ran in fear.

The lead teen pulled Sean to the ground beneath him and started beating him.

I wrapped my arms tightly around the teen's neck, and pulled him away from Sean. He elbowed me in the ribs, hard enough for me to let go. Luckily, Sean was already kneeing him in the face. He blew a couple punches into the teen's jaw, and grabbed the back of his head and shoved him away.

The teen ran off, leaving families and couples to look at us. Sean grabbed my hand and yanked me forward.

"We're going," Sean frowned.

We sat in the parked car, thinking about what just happened.

"Did they hurt you?" Sean asked me with a worried look.

"Not really," I rubbed my ribcage. "But they..." I trailed off. I'm still shocked of what happened.

"Where did he touch you?" Sean asked.

"He reached up my thigh to my private part." I mumbled, trying to keep tears in. I've just been molested and harassed.

Sean's grip on the steering wheel tightened as he grunted. "I will find him and beat his sorry little ass again."

I swallowed a lump in my throat. "Can we just go back to your place?"

Sean took a big breathe, relaxing. "Yes."

During the drive, I was reminded of my past. The dark phases of my teenage life. My boyfriend in high school tried to rape me once, but I eventually escaped and stayed away from him ever since. Tears ran down my cheek as I rubbed my forehead.

Upon arriving at his apartment room, I sat on the couch and rested my head on my hands.

Sean hugged me. I felt a little smooch on the head.

My crying stopped. I glanced back at him.

"I'm sorry that happened to you," he looked as if he was gonna cry. "I promise, if your next boyfriend will treat you like that, I will beat the shit out of him."

I sniffled and stared him straight in the eye. "Thanks, Sean," I held his hand and wiped a tear away.

We sat there quiet. Sean rocked me back and forth like a mother cuddling her baby. Eventually I fell asleep in the comfort of Sean's arms.
