I awoke to the rythmatic beeping and flashing lights of my watch. For a second, as I laid there, I was hypnotised by the shaped they made on the wall. But I was quickly snapped out of my trance and drug back into reality. I glanced down at the silver device and discovered two things. One, it was 3:00 am and two, someone was calling me.
Taking this as an opportunity to get out of bed, I quickly threw the thin sheets off me and scuried down the halls in a quite manner. Once outside I accepted the call and was met with my comrade's fresh faces. "You haven't called in a while", Alice acused with a glare. I raised an eyebrow at her before retorting with, "Yeah, well the middle of nowhere isn't exactly known for it's amazing reception." That comment earned me an even bigger glare.
"Anyway", I interjected, " I need to speak with Emma". The dissaproval of Alice and smile of Sam were quickly replaced by looks of confusion. "What for?", Sam inquired. I waved at him in an unimpressed manner. "Just boss/worker buisness", I
announced,"Nothing special."
"I'll go get her", Alice informed before skipping towards Emma's office.We both watched her untill she disapeared from view. "So",
Sam began, "How are you?"
