I was sitting crossed legged on the woven cot that Crystal gave me.She came in set down the tiny bed and left without a glance in my direction.I looked down at my watch and suddenly had an idea. Searching through my watch's applications I clicked on the call button.The call app flashed onto the screen before producing a sign that ready...no signal.

"Great",I sighed.I closed my eyes and rested my head against the cave wall.I soon heard a soon and tuned my ears into what sounded like soft footsteps padding down the wall.I oppened my eyes and turned my head toward the right just in time to see Julie come in.

"Hey Breanna",Julie said shyly."Hey Julie come on in",I said with a bright smile.Julie nervously stepped in and sat on the mat next to me."About Crystal, she's just worried we'll get noticed and they'll hurt us if we're near you.That's why she was mad at you.She thinks you are lying to her."Julie explained."I kinda figured it out on the way.She must be under alot of stress huh?"I asked Julie.

"Yeah ever since mom died",Julie replied looking quite depressed."What happened?",I questioned."Well..",she began as Crystal burst into the room."Breanna the vampires are looking for you and their searching the cell now.",she said between gasps of breaths.Forgetting about my conversation with Julie I instantly shot up from the bed."Well lets get going then.",I stated.

*2 minutes later*(Because I already described the passageway and don't feel like doing it again)

We crept through the ragged and dusty clothe and swerved through the crowd until we were mid-way through."What now?",Julie whispered from my left."We wait until the vampires come and we see what they want with Breanna",Crystal breathed from my right.Searching the cavern for the vampires I spotted the crowd splitting to my left."Julie get behind me",I ordered.

Doing as I said Julie quickly scurried behind me just as the vampires approached us."Why didn't you answer us when you were called?",The menacing one from before asked."I wanted to play hide and seek",I answered with an innocent smile.You could tell by his narrowed eyes that he was not amused by my comment."Well we're here to assign you to your job.",he announced in a cold voice.

"Job?",I asked and tilted my head slightly to the side."Yes every slave is assigned a job", he answered his voice now more bored than cruel."Alright then,what do I have?',I quizzed with a friendly smile."You get to be a maid.",the nice one said with a large grin plastered on his face.

"Alright cool",I spoke,copying his goofy grin."We'll get a current maid to show you around and you are assigned to room 221.",the meanie stated very professionally."Okay who's going to show me around?",I asked."Crystal Kem",he alleged as he glanced down at his clipboard."But I-", Crystal stuttered before she was interrupted by mister meanie.

"Are you refusing an order!?!You do remember what happenned to the last human who declined a command don"t you?",he grilled with a cold glance."Yes sir",she whispered as she dropped her gaze to the floor."Alright I expect Miss.Emerson to be fully informed by 8pm",He said before he and his brother glided out of the room."Julie I want you to stay with the elders while we're gone.",Crystal ordered before turning towards me."Let's go",she stated before taking off down the hall leaving me to follow behind.
