The Dragon House

As I charged through the material radiant light hit my eyes,blinding me.I rubbed my eyes and waited for them to adapt from the dark of the tunnel to the light of wherever I was.Once my eyes had adjusted,I looked around the room.The walls and floors were the same as the caves except the floor looked as if it had been sanded down to be smoother.Continuing my search of the area I noticed jail bars standing vertical,opposite of the tunnel I came from.

I was snapped out of my trance by the sound of rustling coming from behind me.I spun around to see Julie and Crystal come out from behind a curtain that was the exact colour of the rocky cavern walls."Your here already?",Julie asked as her eyes bulged."Yup",I said popping the P.Julie opened her mouth to respond but as she did the clanking of footsteps hitting the hard rock sounded throughout the cave.

All conversations in the damp cave were quickly hushed and the soothing sound of whispered conversations was replaced by the the eerie slow melodic noise.As the clicking continued I was pulled roughly to my left."You can't tell about the tunnels or the vampires will kill us.",Crystal hissed.Keeping my gaze steady and forward I nodded and stared at the bars.Moments later two buff looking vampires were standing on the other side of the bars.

The one that stood somewhat behind the other one had blond hair that somewhat curled at the end and warm brown eyes.While the one in front had the same hair and deep blue eyes.They seemed to be related if not twins because they had the same facial features and strong jaw.The one in front raked his eyes over the slaves as if inspecting each and everyone.His eyes continued through the never ending wave of slaves until they locked on mine.

His eyes sparkled with interest as a smile grew on his face."Well look at this",He said to his brother with his eyes still studying my face.Intrigued by what his brother had said vampy number 2 stepped forward and peered inside the bars with his hands on either side of his face.His brown eyes searched the slaves faces and just like his brother stopped on me.He examined my face with mild interest before casting his gaze downwards and looking over my body.

He nodded once and turned to his brother.They were talking in whispered voices so I couldn't hear what they were saying but from blue-eyes expression it was business.Throughout their conversation they snuck glances at me and blue-eyes crossed his arms making him look even scarier.They finished their conversation and spared one last look at me before walking out.There was nothing but silence as their footsteps faded down the hall.

When they could no longer be heard the cavern erupted into a loud murmuring.Crystal grabbed me and pulled me into the tunnel."That was close.",Julie whispered as we walked down the passage.Crystal nodded and turned to me."What was that about?",she hissed.

"What was what about?",I asked tilting my head to the side.She narrowed her eyes at me before continuing."You know what I mean",she said."I honestly have no idea",I answered nonchalantly."Fine but you might want to be carefull when your around them,they're dangerous",she informed me before charging down the hall with Julie right behind her.

'Oh no what have I gotten myself into',I thought before sighing and chasing after them.
