Jettson's POV
As soon as Blair said that Bella was a ripper, the frantic vamp soon stepped in,"I-I'm not! I'm not a ripper! I have control! I do, I-I promise! J-Jet believes me, right Jet?" She asks me, a pleading look in her teary eyes and I want to reassure her so badly but there is one problem,
"I'm sorry but I have no idea what a ripper is." I state sending Bella and apologetic look.
"A ripper is basically a vampire who finds it difficult to stop when feeding. They feed until the body is drained of blood and the head is detached. Some can't control it at all but others can to a certain extent. I'm afraid that Belle may have lost that control." Once again Bella was quick to jump in after Blair,
"I didn't! I-I had control! I can control myself! I can!" I hear a small scoff come from Griff but I ignore it.
I pull a now crying Bella into my lap as I calm her down, while tracing circles on her back I ask the group, "Why is she so afraid to be a ripper?"
"Well the Addington family is known for their control and power. I guess if you're less in control there is less power behind your attacks in a way. Anyway Rosa probably doesn't want to shame her family." The Lockston witch whispers to us and we all nod while looking at Bella.
"P-please Jett, you believe me?" I look down into her glossy eyes as she begs me to believe her but can I?
"It's okay Bella don't cry." I soothe her instead and she just hugs me tighter.
"So if she's a ripper then how can she control herself around us?" Albie questioned throwing a cautious glance towards Bella which caused me to glare at him.
"Well like I said, rippers can have a certain extent of control, Rosa actually controlled herself pretty well in the fact that she didn't just eat one of us. Unfortunately for the warlock this wasn't the case." Blair stated causing a light chuckle to come from Satanas mouth. We all stared at her and she just mumbled in response,
"Sorry not the time."
"But she's saying she isn't a ripper." Coral states in confusion. Another scoff could be heated from Griff.
"Okay dude is there something you want to say?" I confront him.
"What?" He questions me innocently.
"Well I mean I keep hearing you scoff in disbelief so what is it?"
"Well I mean the fact that you're all believing Rosabella is bullshit! Blair's right she's a ripper. Why do you think the Addingtons are well known hey? It's not just because of their control or power is it Rosa?"
"Hey, shut up!" Satana interrupts which is ignored by Griff.
"So Rosa are you gonna tell them, or am I?"
"Hey Griff, leave it!" Danny yells, again Griffin ignores him.
"Because I'm pretty certain that our wolf friend would like to know!" Griff spits angrily.
"I swear to God if you don't shut your mouth!" Satana raises her voice, her eyes flash black in anger.
"What are you talking about?" I ask and a smug look falls on his face.
"Jett, have you ever heard the story of the blood moon vamp?" I nod in reply before answering,
"Yeah, the story is that a young vampire born on the blood moon had a blood lust so strong that one night they went for a walk and ripped the heads off of a full wolf pack leaving only one family alive."
"Ahh but not just any pack was it?" Griff asks.
"No. It was the Blue Moon Pack; my pack." I feel my eyes glow orange as I reach the end of my statement and hear a light gasp come from Bella.
"And who were the survivors may I ask?"
"My family; my parents, my sister who was 14 at the time and me, I was 12."
"And Blair may I ask you again what age was Rosabella when you Grandmother help her flip the switch?"
A soft sigh can me heard from Blair as she lowers her gaze before replying, "she was 12."
"Now if you haven't fit the pieces together-" Griffin begins but he's interrupted by Bella.
"Stop! Griff please don't do this. P-please." She stutters but Griffin smirks,
"And here we have our manipulation techniques, now back to what I was saying, the Addingtons are well know as their first born daughter is our very own blood moon vamp." We all gasp but he continues, "Not only that but her manipulative qualities have managed to get them out of any and all bad situations, she really can get whatever the hell she wants."
The room goes deadly silent, all that can be heard are the sniffles from Bella. I look down at her and although I want to be angry, there is something that prevents me from feeling it. Instead I begin to question, why? Why did she choose my pack? Why did she not kill my family? The curiosity builds up until I can't stop myself.
"Why didn't you kill my family?"
"Because as I was about the bite into your sisters neck, I caught sight of you. You were so scared, of me. Your terrified grey eyes were enough to snap my humanity back on and I couldn't do it. I couldn't hurt you, I hated the look you gave me, you made me feel like a monster, let's face it I was a monster. But still you, a twelve year old little boy, were the one to flip my switch. So I fled before you could get a proper look at me. It's probably why you couldn't recognise me."
"Did you recognise me?"
"No, though for some reason you drew me in. Hey, you were even the first person since then to flip my switch back on. The only person ever able to do it."
She smirks before continuing, "some may call us soulmates."
With that the mood is lifted as we all burst into laughter.
