I push Gale back. "What are you doing?" I ask him. I touch my lips and walk towards the bathroom. I feel an hand on my shoulder, it tugs me back. I am facing Gale once again. Both of his hands are on my shoulders and he is looking me straight in the eye. "Katniss! You know you love me more than him! Come on! Just admit you love me!" Then he puts his lips on mine again. I struggle to get free, but he won't let me. His arms around my waist and are not budging. I squirm and wiggle and try to break free. Then I hear the door handle move around. The door is locked. "Katniss? Are you okay?" I hear Peeta say. In one motion I remove my lips from Gale's and scream "PEETA HELP!" Then Gale crashes his lips on mine again. I hear the door breakdown. "What the hell?!?" Peeta screams. Gale removes his warm lips from mine and turns around "If you don't mind bake-" he stops in the middle of the sentence. I hear a loud crack and then realize that Peeta just punched Gale in the head. Gale falls to the ground. He is unconscious. "Katniss?" Peeta says. I turn to him. "You knocked him out... Peeta." I say out of breath. "I know, I'm sorry. I didn't know what else to do. You looked like you were being tortured." he says I am now running and jump into his arms. "Thank you, for saving me. I was being forced. He was forcing me. I was just happy you were here to save me." I look into Peeta's deep blue eyes. He leans down and gives me a soft kiss on the lips. That's the kid of kiss that I want. The kind of kiss that I always want.

Peeta takes us outside of the house. "I'm sorry for turning into some crazy person back there." he says. "It's not your fault," I reply. "as long as I have you back." he kisses me on the cheek and we go find Haymitch and tell him what happened. "You okay sweetheart?" I nod and look down. How could Gale do something like this? He just got knocked out by Peeta. He should be waking up soon. It's not going to be good. "BAKER!" And here we go. We all turn and see Gale with a black eye coming out of the house. Peeta steps in front of me and I grab his arm. "What do you want Gale?" Peeta asks. "What do u want? You know exactly what I want! I want her!" As he points to me. I step out in front of Peeta. He tries to pull me back but I still go ahead. "Alright Gale you want me? Then fight for me. I haven't seen you punch Peeta in the face yet Or help me stay alive for two hunger games. So go ahead fight for me and see what happens." He walks closer to me. I look him straight in the eye to tell him that I am dead serious. "I will fight this baker right now and win. If I win, you come with me. If I don't then he is all yours." "Katniss?" Peeta says quietly. "Shut up Peeta! Alright Gale you have yourself a deal. Fight Peeta right now." I move behind Peeta. I whisper to him, "You're better than him. Kick his butt and I am all yours." Peeta's face goes cold and hard. He looks at me for the last time. I look into his eyes and I already know the message he is sending me. "You are mine. Not his." He looks like he is about to murder Gale. I step out of the way. Then I say "Fight in three, two, one."

Gale throws a punch at Peeta, but Peeta dodges it. Peeta does an upper cut into Gales jaw. Gale falls backward a bit. Then Peeta punches him in the stomach and he goes backward again. One more punch in the face and Gale should be done. And as if Peeta read my mind, he punches Gale in the nose and Gale is on the ground. I run over to them. "You're mine. I will not let anyone else take you from me." Peeta tells me. I jump into his arms. "I love you." he says "I love you too." I walk over to Gale. "Are you okay?" I ask him. No response. "Gale please respond." I tell him. He finally looks at me. He is still lying on the ground. "What?" he asks. "Are you okay?" "No, I didn't win." "It was your deal." I tell him. He sits up. "I don't understand Catnip. I have known you for longer and we have loved you for longer. I knew Peeta liked you, so I tried to keep you away from him." Then I hear foot steps behind me. "Why would you do that Gale?" I hear Peeta growl. "You heard me Baker. I didn't want her to know you. So we started walking the opposite way. Even though she never did notice you." I stand up. "You, you made me stay away from him?" I say. I go beside Gale and I kick him in the side. "You jerk!" I scream and run away.

I keep running. I'm in the forest. This feels to familiar. It's like I am in the first hunger games again. I am running from from the other tributes. I don't like this. I get thirsty so I go to a river and get some water. After I have had a good drink of water. I stand back up again and I look around. Why does this place seem so familiar? Then I turn around. This is the place where Rue died. I see the flowers that I placed around her are still there. I walk over and I see the halo I made her on the ground. I start to cry. I miss Rue. I want her to still be my ally. Why did this have to happen? The hunger games was the dumbest thing ever invented. I hate it. I want everything back to the way it used to be. I want my sister and finnick. Rue and Boggs. Everyone back but without the hunger games. I walk away. I walk until I see the cave. I go in and sit there. This was the only place I felt safe, with Peeta. Then I hear "Katniss!" in the distance. It's obviously Peeta, he knows that I would come here. I hear footsteps come closer to the cave. "Katniss?" I hear him say. "Yes?" manage to mumble out through the tears. I hear come in to the cave. He sits beside me and wraps and arm around me. "Listen to me," He says. "You never have to come back to place. We get to leave tomorrow and never return. Do you understand?" I nod and lean my head on his shoulder. "I love you Katniss Everdeen and no one can ever take you away from me. " He says. "I love you too." I say
