"Gale?" I say quietly. Gale. Gale is here. My best friend is here. "Gale!" I scream to him. "Katniss?" he says confused. I run over to him and hug him. "What are you doing here?" I ask him. "I was sent here on a special mission. Why are you here?" "I am your special mission." I say. He turns to me then looks behind me to Peeta. He gives Peeta a dirty look then back at me. "Come on then, let's get you guys in the hover craft." Peeta, Haymitch and I all get into the hover craft and take our seat. "Why are you my special mission? They wont tell us anything." He says. "There is a small army that is after me that President Snow designed before he died or maybe had planed all along." I tell him. He looks at me, his face is blank. He clenches his jaw and turns away. I look at Peeta. He is looking around the hover craft. Then catches me looking at him. He gives me a comforting smile then holds my hand. I turn back to Gale who has a disgusted look on his face. I hold out my hand to him and he holds it. Finally, I have my two favourite boys with me.

We get to the secret location. I have no idea where we are. I get out of my seat from the hover craft and start looking out the window. I am still holding on to Peeta's hand, but Gale must have let go. Where are we? We walk into the place. It looks so familiar. "Peeta," I say. "Does this look familiar to you?" "Yes it does." he says. I am starting to worry now. I just want to go home. This is déjà vu. We keep walking in. Then the head of the soldiers say "Keep moving. We don't have that much time until they find out where we are." All of us start to speed walk into the location. Then we see something like an invisible vortex. I look back at Gale. He doesn't seem to know what is going on either. The soldier walks into the vortex. Another follows. Then it is Peeta's turn. He walks in. Then my turn. I go through the vortex and into what was the 74th hunger games arena.

I run to Peeta. I need him. I can't be here. He turns to see the panicked look on my face. He started to run towards me and the embraced me in his arms. "Why are we here?" I say to him. "I don't know beautiful. I am about to find out." He grabs my hand and marches over to Gale. "Why the hell are we back here? This is going to give her even worse nightmares than before! Are you insane?!?" "Listen here baker, this is the first time I have been here to. Get out of my face before you get seriously hurt." Peeta stays in Gale's face. I step in between the two. "Come on guys. The last thing I need right now is one of you having a black eye." Peeta looks at me and smiles. "Anything you want beautiful." Gale moans and Peeta gives him a dirty look and then we continue walking around. We finally find Haymitch talking a the general. "Miss. Everdeen, Mr. Mellark, pleasure to meet you. I will show you to your house and let you get settled in and then explain to you what is happening after you are settled." Peeta and I go to our house. It is a nice house, kind of reminds me of my victor house. We walk in and put our clothes away. After we are all done we go back outside to meet with the General. "Everything to your satisfaction?" He asks. We both nod. " Great, I am now going to explain to you what is going on." I look at him curiously. "There is a group of about twenty soldiers that were hired from President Snow. We have identified all of them and getting ready to capture them. After we capture them we are going to try to reverse the tracker jacket venom that was used on Peeta. Any questions?" "I have one," I say. "Can I help?"

"What?" Peeta says. "I want to help, I want to fight. Beetee can get me those bows and arrows again so I can blow stuff up. And I can injure some of the army when we capture them." Peeta looks at me like I am insane. "Katniss, can I talk to you for a second, over here." Peeta asks me. I nod and follow him. "Katniss, these people want to kill you. Do you understand that?" "Yes I do, I have had people trying to kill me for a long time now. I think I will be okay. Are you going to help me?" I tell him. He gives me a soft smile "Where ever you are, that's where I am." he says. I smile at him and give him a peck on the lips. "I love you." I tell him "I love you too." He replies. We go back over to the General. "We are both ready to fight." Peeta tells him. "Fantastic. We are going to go in tomorrow. Have you to kept in shape?" We both nod. We have, we run together three times a week and lift things. We are still very fit. "Okay, feel free to walk around. I know this may be hard for you both and we are very sorry, but you can practice your hunting here. We have your bows and arrows at the training center. Feel free to go get them whenever you want!." He smiles and then goes talks to Haymitch. I ask Peeta if he wants to go get some weapons and go hunting. He nods and we go to the training center. We see Beetee there and go talk to him. "Hi Katniss, Hi Peeta, glad to see you here!" We chat for a little while and then he gives me my bow and arrows and gives Peeta a spear and a sword. We go out into the forest and start hunting. I take some practice shots on a tree. I am still pretty good. We walk around together, hunting, laughing. Until, we come across the cave. We both look at each other, a bit worried, but we go into the cave. Everything is still there. Everything like we left it. The soup containers, the bag from the feast. We sit down. Then Peeta kisses me, slowly and passionately. He places his forehead on mine and says " This is the place where we had our first kiss." He says. I look at him and smile. I kiss him again. It's like the first kiss we had and makes me want another.
