We get Finnick and Annie back to the house along with Jonah and Joe. The peacekeepers will be coming for them soon enough so Haymitch watches them outside. Finnick is in pain and Annie is still crying and shaking. Effie was watching Finnick Jr for Annie and Finnick. I decide to call her and tell her what is going on. I dial Annie and Finnicks number. "Hello?" I hear Effie say. "Hey, it's Katniss." "How did it go dear?" "We caught them but Finnick is hurt bad. Don't tell little man yet though okay?" "Okay I won't, I will stay here for as long as needed." "Thanks Effie, I will call you back soon." I hang up the phone. Gale and Peeta are bringing Finnick in. They lie him on the kitchen table. "Katniss, come here." I hear Finnick say. I walk over trying to not cry. "Listen to me, if I don't make it.." "Finnick, you are going to be fine. Don't even say that you are not going to make it." I say as tears swell in my eyes. "Let me finish, if I don't make it, you get my trident again. You have to help Annie and Finnick Jr. Help him use the trident and a bow and arrow. Do you understand?" I nod barely being able to speak. "Don't die Finnick." I whisper as I put my head down on his chest. I hear is heart beating. It has to stay that way. I am not letting him die. I can't let him leave Annie here, by herself. I listen to his heartbeat, making sure it stays the same. "Why don't you come to bed?" I hear Peeta say. "No I am staying here with him."

I lay there most of the night with my head on Finnick's chest. I still hear his heartbeat which is good. Annie is asleep on the couch and Peeta is in my room and Gale is in the spare room. "Katniss.." I hear Finnick whisper. "What is it? Are you okay?" I ask him "I'm fine right now, just in a little pain. Are you okay? You have been with me the whole night, maybe you should go upstairs and sleep in a comfy bed." "I'm not leaving you, not again. I refuse to do that. I am staying by your side until you can sit up again." He looks at me and gives me a soft smile. "You love me don't you?" He asks. "Of course I do Finnick. You have saved Peeta and I do many times, it's hard not to love you." I say winking at him. That makes him laugh. I'm glad I can make him laugh. "Go back to sleep." I tell him. "Only if you go to sleep with Peeta." "I am not leaving you." I tell him again. What does he not understand. "Fine. If you have too." He says. He closes his eyes and I lie down on his chest again. He puts his arm around me and gives me a squeeze. "I love you too Katniss. Thank you for everything." He says in a soft voice. "Anytime." I fall asleep and don't wake up until morning. When I wake up I listen to Finnick's chest, but nothing is beating.

"PEETA!" I scream at the top of my lungs. I hear him run down the stairs along with Gale. I feel Finnick he is warm. He must have just gone out. I start pumping his chest. Peeta comes beside me. "I don't know what I am doing." I say crying. Peeta pushes me aside. He starts pumping at Finnick's chest. He plugs Finnick's nose and opens his mouth and blows air into it. He start pumping again. "1, 2, 3, breathe." He goes into another breath. He keeps doing this. I sit on the floor crying. Gale comes over and wraps his arms around me. "Peeta knows what he is doing. Don't worry." Gale says to me. Annie wakes up. "What is going on?" She says scared and confused. "Finnick's heart failed when Katniss woke up. Peeta is trying to revive him." Gale says because he knows I am not able to speak. Annie faints. Gale let's go of me to attend her. He runs to the phone and calls my Mom and Haymitch. I am sitting there crying still. "I think I got him." Peeta says. I jolt up and go to Peeta's side. I lean my ear down in Finnick's chest. I hear his heartbeat again. I let out a sigh of relief and hug Peeta. "You are the greatest man in the world, did you know that." I say to him, still sobbing. He hugs me. Finnick wakes up. "Wha..what happened?" He says. "You died, but Peeta brought you back to life." I tell him smiling. "Guess we are even know, eh Peeta?" Finnick says smirking. "Of course." He says. Then I feel Peeta's hand wrap around and then he squeeze's it. Then I feel him squeeze it harder. "Peeta are you okay?" "The venom is coming back." He says barely moving his lips.

I try to release Peeta's grip on me. "Peeta, listen to me," Finnick says to him. Peeta turns to him and I finally get rid of his grip on me and back away. "You love Katniss. She will never ever leave you. She loves you, Peeta." Finnick looks at me and I take that hint to go find Haymitch. I start running out of the house. Haymitch is sitting outside still. The two rebels are still there. I give them a dirty look and then turn to Haymitch. "Peeta's venom is coming back. Finnick is trying to calm him down. He is doing a pretty good job but you are still probably wanted in there. We really need to find a cure. Maybe one of these people can help us." I say as I turn to the rebels. Their hands and feet are handcuffed and there is tape over their mouth. "Katniss I can't go in there, I have to watch them." "I will watch them. No big deal." I say. "Are you sure?" He asks. I nod and he starts to make his way into the house. "Listen here." I say to the rebels. "You are the lowest lives I have ever met. I hope you get brutally tortured when you get that venom injected into your arm. I hope you have the worst nightmares. I hope you don't recover. I hope you have it forever and ate tortured every single day of your life." I say to both of them. They have fear in their eyes. I hear Peeta scream from inside. I look through the door. He is holding his head in his hands and is crying. "Why me!?! Why did this have to happen to me?!?" He screams. I want to run in and hug him and tell him everything will be okay. Just as I stand up a couple of peacekeepers come to my house. "Katniss Everdeen?" They ask. I nod. "We are here to pick up two rebels. Threatened to kill you." I nod and then point to them. "Thank you." The peacekeeper says and takes them away to the train. I peer through the door. Peeta is sitting on the couch now. He looks calm. Thats when Haymitch waves me to come in.

I come into the room. I walk slowly and carefully to the couch. The Haymitch says "Peeta, what do you see right now when you look at Katniss?" Peeta looks at me. I can't help but smile. He smiles back. "I see the most beautiful girl in the entire world." He replies. I run over and hug him. "We are going to find a cure for you. Don't worry." I say as calmly as possible. His hug makes me feel safe. "Does everyone want tea?" I ask. "No, I need some liquor." Haymitch responds. "Of course you do." I respond. "I am going to back to my place." He tells us. I go over and hug Haymitch. "Thank you, or everything." I say. "Anything for you sweetheart." He leaves my house and I make tea for everyone. "Hey idiot." I hear behind me. It's Johanna of course. "Hey! I haven't seem you in a while." We hug and talk for a little while. "I see you and Gale are getting close." I tell her. She blushes. "I think he is the one for me." She responds and turns to face him and gives him a small wave. He smiles and gives her a wave back with a wink. She helps me serve the tea. I sit beside Peeta and he wraps an arm around me. "Are you excited for Sunday?" He asks me. "Obviously." I tell him. I am finally going to get married to Peeta. He is going to be mine and I am going to be his. I wonder if he has planned a honeymoon, because I sure haven't. "Peeta, have you planned a honeymoon yet?" I ask him. He shakes his head no and I frown at him. "We have!" Finnick, Annie, Johanna, and Gale all look at us. "What, you guys have planned a honeymoon for us!?" I say excitedly. "Yeep!" Johanna says. Now I am really excited!
