*two years later* "Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday dear Katniss, Happy birthday to you!" Everyone is singing to me. Today is my 20th birthday. I can't believe it has been almost three years since everything happen. Everyone is here, Peeta, Effie, Haymitch, Mom, Annie and Finnick Jr, Falvius, Octavia, Venia, Beetee and Buttercup. The only person that isn't there that I wish was is Gale. I miss him so much, and he won't answer any of my calls and never returns my messages. I blow out my candles and smile. Peeta comes over to me and gives me a peck on the lips. "I love you." he says. "I love you too." I say back to him. He only has had one moment when he has wanted to kill me in the past three months. Which is pretty good. Better than last year. We eat cake and start to play with Finnick Jr. He is five now and is looking more and more like his Dad every day. His eyes, his face, even his hair. We play peek a boo for a while. He still loves that games. Then everyone comes over and gives me presents. Octavia, Flavius and Venia give me an outfit that Cinna had designed for me. I love it! It's an all new hunting outfit for me. I can't thank them enough. Effie also gives me an outfit from her new design collection, it was the first I really fell in love with! I thank her and move on to Annie's gift. It's a trident. I look to her, before I can say anything she stops me "He told me that of anything were to happen to him, he wanted you to have his trident. I thought your twentieth birthday would be the perfect time." Tears are in her and my eyes. I give her a hug,

and look at Finnick Jr. He looks at me confused and I give him a hug, he hugs me back. I move onto the next gift from Beetee. Its a whole new arrow set. "I have been working on these for years. The ones with the red tips sense animals and detect them and shoot straight for them even if they miss. The rest are just normal. The other ones I was trying to make for you are not finished yet." I thank him and move onto Haymitch's gift. I open a small box. It is a bracelet that has sweetheart on it. I look up at him and stand up and give him a big hug. "I love it, thank you!" "You are very welcome, sweetheart." I see one last gift. It is from mom, I open it and see a picture of me and dad. "Where did you find this?" I ask. " I can't believe you haven't noticed it. It has been in your father's hunting jacket for years. I was about to wash it and I felt something in the pocket. I took it out and this is what it was. I decided to frame it and give it to you." "Thank you." I say and give her a hug. After everyone has tea and chats for a little longer they all decide to leave. I say thank you and good bye to everyone. I turn to Peeta and laugh. "What?" He asks, snickering himself. "I have one crazy family." I say. He laughs. "Katniss," He says, I start to clean the dishes on the table but then turn to him. "I do not remember how much I loved you before the rebellion. All I know is that if I loved you anymore than I love you now, I must have been crazy, madly in love you. Even though I am now. But I want to spend the rest of my life with you," He bends down on one knee and pulls a box out of his pocket. "Katniss Everdeen, will you do the amazing honor of marrying me?"

I look at him with a shocked face. Then I look down at the giant diamond sitting on a gold hoop. I start to get tears in my eyes and then smile and finally manage to say "Yes". I jump on Peeta and hug him. "I love you so much." he says "I love you so much, thank you for always being there for me, even in my worst times." Then we both notice that we are lying on the ground for no reason and we start laughing. We get up and hug each other again and keep saying that we love each other and that we mean the world to each other. Then I feel Peeta squeezing me a little to hard. "Ouch, Peeta you are hurting me." I say. Then I look into his eyes. Oh no, not now. Not in this beautiful moment. I manage to get one of my hands free and punch him square in the nose. "YOU MUTT!" he screams at me. I run for the door with tears in my eyes. I close the door and run to Haymitch's house. I hear my door open and Peeta bursting through it. I gasp at the crazed look in his eyes. I run into Haymitch's house and lock the door. "Haymitch!" I scream. He comes from the kitchen and sees that I am in tears and scared. I run over to hug him "It's Peeta, he is mad again. He is probably coming over here to kill me soon." I tell him "Why is it such a big deal this time?"He asks me. "Because he just purposed to me." I say. Haymitch looks at me and now knows why I am so terrified. "Don't worry. I will take care of him." he says. "Go hide upstairs in my room okay?" I nod and go up the stairs. Then I hear a loud crash. "WHERE IS SHE!?!" I hear Peeta yell. I hear foot steps and then a loud crash. "Peeta listen to me!" I hear Haymitch say. "You love this girl! You just asked her to marry you and she said yes! Get a hold of yourself!" I don't hear much after that. I don't want to hear anymore. I just want my boy with the bread back in my arms.

I am still in Haymith's room. I don't know how long it has been. I am scared. I want Peeta to wrap is arms around me and telling me that everything is alright. I hear someone come up the stairs. "Hi Sweetheart." Haymitch says. "Is he okay?" "Yes, he is going to be fine. We watched a few videos and now he remembers everything." "Even before the rebellion?" I ask "It's foggy, but he is getting there." "Can I see him?" "Of course." Haymitch says. We walk down the stairs. I see Peeta sitting on the coach, he stands up and runs to me. "I am so sorry!" He says. "Are you still going to be my wife?" "Of course, just this one time is not going to change anything." He smiles and kisses me. It's like the first time in the cave all over again and it makes me want more. "I forgot to show you something on the ring," he says to me. He takes it out of the box and I look inside the gold band of the ring it says "Real" with a heart beside it. I look at him and give him a peck on the lips. "That is beautiful. I love you." I tell him. He puts the ring on my finger and then we hug each other. "Okay you two, take this some where else. I don't want to see it anymore." We both laugh at Haymitch. And head to my house. Peeta makes us a beautiful dinner. We decide to go to sleep early tonight. I fall asleep cradled in his arms. Then I start to have a nightmare. It's the quarter quell, Peeta jumps in the water knowing that he can't swim and starts to drown. I jump in the water to try to save him but he is gone! I swim back to land and start crying " Peeta!" I say! "Peeta!" I wake up. Cold and scared. "Shh, Katniss." I hear Peeta say. I turn to face him and hug him. "As long as I am here, everything is going to be alright." I fall back asleep, knowing that Peeta is always going to be here.

The thing Peeta doesn't know about me that my dreams are about losing him too. I haven't told him yet. I don't know why I haven't. He would like to know that I love him that much. I wake up before him so I decide to get out of bed and go downstairs. Just as I am about to turn the tv on, it comes on by itself. "Attention! Attention! And important announcement will be broadcasted in two minutes. Wake up everyone in your household immediately." I run up the stairs and wake up Peeta. "Peeta! Wake up! Hurry!" He looks at me and knows I am worried. He puts on a shirt and comes downstairs with me. The tv turns on. "Attention! We have just received news that President Snow, now dead, has a small army ready to kill Katniss Everdeen. We know who the members of this army are and he have created a bigger army to face them. Katniss, if you are watching we are going to call you. That is all."

I look at Peeta. He looks more scared than me.

Peeta looks like he is about to faint so I have to sit him down. "Do you want something to eat?" I ask him. He nods his head. I go into the i kitchen. What the hell am I supposed to do? I am going to be attacked by an army, I am supposed to get married! I want to get married. This is ridiculous. I get Peeta a cheese bun and a glass of water. I bring it back to him and he starts nibbling on it. I hear the door bell ring. Peeta and I jolt up almost immediately and go to the door. Peeta answers it, and Haymitch is at the door. Then he says "Katniss, the phone at my house is for you. Both of you come over." We walk over to Haymitch's house. I am in the middle of the two of them. They both look worried and scared. We enter the house and I go straight for the phone. "Miss. Everdeen, my name is Sergeant Pine. We called you at Haymitch's house because we believe that the army has been listening to your calls. Are you alright?" "Yes" I say, not knowing what else to say. "We are going to send a hover craft that should be there in an hour and you will be brought to a hiding place. Do you have any questions?" "Can I bring my fiancé and Haymitch with me?" "Yes, you may." Then he hangs up the phone. I turn to Peeta and Haymitch and say "Pack your things." Peeta and I go back to my house and I pack my things first and then we go to his house and he grabs his things. We go back to Haymitch's house and wait. Nobody saying anything, just wondering through our thoughts. Why? I think to myself. Why me, I thought this thing was over. Then we hear the hovercraft and go outside. It lands and I am astonished about who comes out of the hover craft first.
