We return back to the house. All I want right now is to go home. After two hours of sitting on the bed we get a knock on the door. It's the general. "Good evening, I am pleased to inform you that you are now aloud to go home." I stand up. Peeta looks at me and hugs me. "Nothing else is going to happen. It's going to be me an you forever and no one can come in between us." He tells me. I believe him. Nothing can come between us. He is my dandelion in the spring when everything else has been destroyed. He makes me happy. We go on the hovercraft and start to fly away. I am holding on to Peeta's had. I turn to look at him. He looks at me and gives me a soft smile. "You know," I say. "We still have a wedding to plan." He gives me a big smile. "Of course!" he says. I can tell he wants to kiss me but we can't reach each other so he just gives me a gentle squeeze on the hand. We reach the victors village finally. Haymitch gets off first and walks straight to his home. Peeta says, "I am going home to unpack and then I will come over to your house." I nod and give him a quick peck on the lips and start to go back to my house. I get in and everything is the way it was. I hear buttercup screeching from upstairs. "Hi buttercup." I say, but she doesn't come down. I go up the stairs with my bags. "Buttercup?" I say looking for her. Then I go into my guest bedroom and a figure is there. Who is in my house? The figure turns around and I could not be more surprised of who it is.

"Finnick?" I say. "Hey, want a sugercube?" He says with a wink and offers me one. Am I imagining this? "I thought you died?" "Well, as I was getting mauled by the mutts. I saw my trident in arms length so I reached for it, grabbed it and then I fought off one of them that was on me and then fought the rest off. After I was done I collapsed because I had such bad wounds and I lost a lot of blood. I kept yelling for help until someone finally heard me and came down the sewer and got me and they knew who I was. They took me to the Capitol hospital and fixed me. As much as I didnt want to be there I has to wait until everything was healed and I could go home. After two weeks they finally let me go home to district four. I tried to find Annie but they told me she was up here but everyone was so happy I was alive they didn't want me to leave again. So finally three years later I could come up here to see my love and you and Peeta and everyone. Wait, what else happened after I was lying in the sewers? I heard some explosions." He asks. "Coin released bombs that looked like parachutes and kills a bunch of children. Including Prim." I tell him. Trying to hold back the tears. "Katniss, I am so sorry." he says as he comes over to hug me. I hug him back still trying to hold back the tears. I hear a knock on the door. "Stay here I want Peeta to be surprised!" I say as I run down the stairs and fling the door open. "Peeta!" I say as I hug him. "What are you do happy about?" he asks. "Wait down here. I have a surprise for you!" I say. I go upstairs to the guest bedroom. Finnick is still standing there. "Come here!" I tell him. We walk down the stairs and Peeta has the best reaction.

"F...F...F...." Peeta stutters. He looks like he is about to faint. I let go of Finnick and go help Peeta sit down and make him drink some peach juice. "Finnick, you're alive?" Peeta finally manages to mumble out. "The one and only is alive!" Finnick says. I laugh at him. "B...b...but how?" he says. "Really I have to go through this all again?" Finnick questions. Peeta nods. Finnick re-tells his story about how he survived. I still can't believe this. It's insane. I can't believe Finnick survived all of this. He is a true hero, a fighter. After he finishes telling Peeta his story, Peeta has his mouth open and cannot believe it either. I don't think he can really say much. Finnick did save his life. I am really grateful for Finnick. I turn to him and give him a kiss on the cheek. "What was that for?" he asks. "For saving the love of my life. I never actually did thank you." Finnick smiles and hands me a sugar cube. Peeta still doesn't know what is going on. He still looks confused. "Should I call Annie?" I ask. Finnick screams out "YES! I want to see my son and my love!" I go to the phone and call Annie. "Hey Annie, it's Katniss. You may want to come over here. I have a surprise for you. Bring Finnick jr. too!" I tell her quietly. "Alright I will be right over." She tells me. "I walk back into the room where Peeta finally is speaking and has some colour in his face again. "Annie and your child will be over in 5 minutes." "Okay, I really need to see her. I miss her like crazy. I want to see my child too. Is it a boy or a girl? Wait! Don't tell me!" Finnick shouts at me. I laugh at him and tell him I have a plan and he has to go into the kitchen with Peeta. Peeta and him go into the kitchen and are super quiet. I didn't know that was possible for Peeta. Annie comes to the door. "Hi!" she says. "Hi!" I say back to her and hug her. "Come sit." I tell her. She sits down with Finnick Jr. "I have something for you." I say. I go get the trident from my closet and come back and hand it to her. "But this is for you, Finnick specifically told me that he wanted you to have it Incase something had it to him." She says. "Well, the thing is, nothing did happen to him." "What? Yes something did! He died." she says. "No he didn't." I tell her. And from around the corner appears Peeta and then Finnick.

I walk over to Peeta and stand with him. Finnick walks over to Annie and Finnick Jr. Annie stands up and looks at him curiously. She walks toward him with Finnick Jr. In her hand. "Hi beautiful." Finnick says. "Hi handsome." Annie says back with tears in her eyes. She lets go of Finnick Jr. and runs into Finnick's arms. They embrace each other for a little while and then share a tender kiss. They both have tears in their eyes and are the happiest people in the world when they are together. Then Finnick Jr. Says "Mommy! What are you doing?" She turns around and walks towards him and then picks him up. "Finnick Jr. This I your Daddy. The man you were named after." Annie tells him. Finnick Jr. Looks at Finnick curiously. Finnick started crying tears of joy when he saw his little boy come into his arms. "Hi little man. I love you so much." he tells him. "I love you to Daddy." Finnick leaves an arm open for Annie to come into the hug. Finnick kisses her quickly and gives his family a big hug. All of a sudden here sniffles coming from the side of me. "Peeta are you crying?" I ask him. Finnick and Annie turn around. "I am just so happy is not dead and he is back with Annie and Finnick Jr." he says still crying. We all laugh. "I love you man." Peeta says to Finnick. Finnick comes over to Peeta and gives him a man hug. They whisper something to each other that I can't quite make out. I walk over to Annie who is still crying. I give her a hug and tell her "He is back, the boy from the sea is back." She looks at me and nods. Finnick Jr comes over to me and says "Katniss, are you my Aunt then?" I laugh and say "Of course little man. I will be your crazy Aunt." Peeta and Finnick are still talking. Peeta still has tears in his eyes. I walk over to them and say "Peeta will you make us a coming home dinner for Finnick?" He turns to look at me and says "Of course beautiful." He gives me a kiss on the lips then hugs me. "We are never going to lose each other." he whispers. "Never." I reply to him.

After dinner, we clean up and chat for a little while Finnick and his family leaves. "Do you want tea?" I ask Peeta. "Sure." I make the tea and then we both sit down on the couch. He wraps an arm around me and I turn on the tv. Usually at this time of the year the hunger games would be on. Then I quickly shut the TV back off. "Are you okay love?" he asks. I just nod put my head on his shoulder. "I will never watch TV again at this point in the year." I tell him. "I am totally with you on that." he says. He gives me a soft smile. I can't help but kiss him when he does that. I give him a light peck on the lips. "What was that for?" he asks me. "Just for being the amazing fiancée you are." I smile back at him. "Katniss, I have never asked you this but I want to ask you now. Do you want kids?" I think about this a little bit. I told Gale that I would never have kids, but now that the hunger games are over, does that mean I want to have them? "I'm not sure." Is all I can come up with. "What do you mean you are not sure?" he asks me. "I haven't really thought of it. I will think about it more now that you have mentioned it." I turn to him and smile. He knows it is a fake one by the one he gives me back. Do I want kids? Do I want to feel something inside me? Do I want to go through that pain? All of these questions pop into my head as I contemplate if I want kids or not. "I am going to go to sleep. I am tired." I say to Peeta. "Do you want me to stay?" he asks. I nod and go get ready for bed. I put on shorts and a t-shirt and go into my bed. Peeta is in the bathroom. I don't want to have a kid before the wedding I know that much. I will decide after the wedding if I want kids or not. Peeta comes into my bed and puts his arms around me. He kisses my temple, but I turn around and give him a long tender kiss on the lips. "I love you so much." I say. "I love you to." he says back and then we fall asleep.
