Daniella's POV
"Run! Just Run!" I saw Mitch coming over the hill and down toward us. "I'm fine! Keep going!"
With me busy staring at my boyfriend, Lilah grabbed my arm and pulled me along. I caught on and ran beside her, where we are going? Hell if I know.
I turned again to see Mitch closer than before, "where are we going?" I yelled back to him.
"Stop in a crowd!" He yelled back before turning around. Behind him was three figures, too far away to make out, standing on that hill.
I ran into someone, "sorry" I muttered toward Delilah who had stopped.
"It's okay" she panted, "its seventh grade all over again" she groaned, I laughed lightly.
"Tell me about it" I said back, out of breath.
Mitch stopped next to us, a bruise across the left side of his face. "holy shit" I breathed out and traced my hand on his cheek.
"I'm fine" he said roughly, "are you two?" He asked looking back and fourth between me and Lilah.
"We're fine" I smiled slightly, I through my arms around him, "in glad you're safe"
"I'll be fine Dani, I promise" he whispered back, "and I promise you, I'll get Jerome back, Delilah" he said.
I turned around, she smiled at me and Mitch, nodding. "I know we will" she smiled happily, "he'll make it"
"Of corse he will" I agreed, "let's get back to the house"
Mitch nodded, we started walking, curving down street after street. "Dani.." Lilah said after a while, I turned around to see a black van speeding toward us.
The same van I was put in, kidnaped in... raped in.
"Oh my god" I whispered, Mitch turned around and looked back to me.
"Dani you have to listen, go with Delilah. I'll be okay. You need to run" he said in a hurry speeding on behind us.
"Mitch I can't leave you!" I yelled, it hurt to say what I said. I hate to say I even left him in the building.
He looked at me, torn. "I'll be okay, I promise, I promise it'll be over soon" he rushed out.
The van was soon no more than a few feet behind us. "Mitch"
"I love you Dani. Run, run as fast as you fucking can" he said stopping, "go!" He screamed as the van caught up to him and stopped.
"Mitch!" I screamed watching one person come out and soon Mitch was on the ground, "Mitchell!" I screamed again.
"We have to go Dani! Now!" Delilah said, I nodded and grabbed her hand and ran, ran the fuck away from that van, that man, and Mitch.
By the time I looked back again, the van was gone. "It's gone" I said out of breath before running back.
"Dani" Delilah said running after me.
Tire marks scratched the road in black marks where the man peeled away. Who the hell was it? I don't know..
"Daniella," Delilah said slowly, "look at this"
I turned to see her with a piece of paper, "do we ever get a break?" I grabbed it from her.
Dear Demon Daughters,
I have your two little 'boyfriends' Mitch and Jerome was it. Well, whoever they are, they don't have much time. You see, when I took Ella, I intended to keep her. Not have those to idiots come in and save her. Now I intend to have you both, for a long, long time.
So here's the deal. Deli and Ella, you two come and turn yourself in, I let the boys go. Everything goes back to what it used to be, unless you know, you don't show up. I kill them both.
No police, nothing but you two, or they get it. It can be like Ella had it for those weeks, just like that. Forever.
