After everyone was fully capable of movement again, we headed back to camp. It was nice to walk through the woods of the place I loved, no threats, no dangers, just fun. It was the longest period of peace we had ever seen, and it was marvelous.

I made Peter carry me on his shoulders, claiming my "tiny stature" was getting tired. He knew it was a lie, but he did it any way.

We reached camp around sunset, sore and tired from our game.

"Can I set you down now?" Peter whines.

"No," I teased, booping his nose.

"Ok..." he said, before slowly lifting off the ground.

"Ok ok you can put me down!" I screeched, clutching onto his forehead. Even now I still was unable to get over my fear of heights. He laughed, setting me down gently and floating upside down in front of me.

"So since I carried you here can I get a kiss?" he asked, wiggling his eyebrows.

"I don't know...." I teased. I loved this cute flirty side of Peter. He was so sweet and kind. That doesn't mean I don't like him evil though, I loved his evil self. It was just nice to know he had a soft side. However, if he was always like this I'd go crazy.

"Please?" he pouted.

"No-" before I could finish his lips were on mine and I smiled. Our lips moved in sync, his arms wrapping around my waist.

"Get a room," Felix muttered, walking by, and I pulled away, laughing.

"Felix you idiot," Peter growled, making me laugh harder.

"Dang, almost had it Peter," Felix laughed, the first sign of emotion we've seen him make in a while.

I walked over to Peter's stump and took a seat, patting the remaining half for Peter to sit on. Peter took a seat, wrapping his right arm around my waist to hold me close to him.

"It's so nice without any pirates or indians around," I mumbled, grabbing his left hand with my right and intertwining our fingers.

"It's boring though," Peter said. "Who's life am I supposed to ruin?"

"You could always pick a fight with Tink," I joked.

"She's no fun," Peter mumbled, glancing over at Felix. I watched as he mouthed something to him and Felix nodded, turning to Devon.

"What was that about?" I asked.

"What?"

"Peter don't play dumb what did you mouth to him?"

"Oh he wanted help fixing the hammock but I told him not right now," he said. It seemed like a total lie, but I chose to ignore it.

"Well, if he needs help go help him."

"Are you sure? I've been gone all day..." he started.

"I'm positive." Peter looked at me and I nodded slowly. He dropped my hand and removed his arm, kissing my cheek before heading over to Felix.

I sighed. That was the only thing that stunk, no matter what he was always busy. But, I guess that was the price to pay for staying.

"Does he ever stick around for more than two minutes?" Tobias asked, sitting on the ground beside me. I looked over at him and back at the fire.

"Well, he has an island to run, I don't blame him," I told him.

"How do you deal with it?"

"What?" I asked.

"Him being gone so often."

I laughed. "Well it's not like he's leaving the island."

"Still I mean... I used to have a girlfriend. Her name was Beatrice, but she was constantly off doing something behind my back I told her not to do and she promised she wouldn't. Guess what? One day, she didn't come back. I just, I don't see how you do it," he said, looking down at his hands he now gripped tightly, so tightly his knuckles were white.

"I'm sorry about your girlfriend, but Peter isn't like that, I can trust him."

"I could trust her too, and I loved her like you love him. Sometimes it's the people we love most that hurt us."

I nodded, knowing what he meant. But, that wasn't Peter. Sure, Peter had done some questionable stuff in the past, but that was before we were in love. He was good to me now, bad to the rest of the world, but good to me.

"I've got to go, um, talk to Runner," I said, getting up and walking away. Things had gotten too awkward, and I had no idea what to say.

* Peter's POV*

I watched Ace get up and walk away from Tobias, and towards the tree house. I hit Felix lightly and pointed, letting him know she wasn't looking. He nodded, and we quietly walked away from camp.

"What's so important Felix?" I hissed as we walked deeper into the jungle.

"You have to tell her now," he said sternly. "Before it's too late. We like having her here and obviously you don't ever want her to leave. He's getting closer by the day..."

"I don't care," I snapped. "Felix, she thinks I killed that bastard. She can't know I didn't."

"She's going to find out. And when she does she'll be more mad then she would if you told her. You know you have to," Felix said.

I ran my hands through my hair. "Of course I know I have to. Thing is I don't want to. I don't want to see her face fall, that happy look gone. See her tired, lifeless eyes. Her eyebrows scrunch in confusion and anger. I don't want to see it."

"Pan, you're a villain. Put your big boy pants on and play the part. Villains never get the girl, especially one that's evil as well. She can take it, and she'll have to face it. Because he's coming back, and you two will have to throw him out again," Felix explained.

"Fine, ok?! I'll tell her, for God's sake Felix."

Felix smirked. "How are you doing with Tink?"

"Not hot, she keeps bringing up the deal we made to get Hook out of Neverland the first time. I told her I'd steer clear. If we can't get her I don't know what we'll do, because Hook has help this time apparently. At least, that's what our scouts have said."

"Greg and Tamara?"

I nodded. "Now, let's get back to camp. I have some news to break..."
