Ace's POV

"Who would've thought," Tiger Lily said after Luke took Tobias out of the room. Hook had left as well, claiming he needed to speak with Mr. Smee.

I was still in shock by the whole thing. I was shaking like a leaf, my breathing insane. On the outside, though, I tired to keep my composure. I had no idea if it was working or not, but I hoped so.

"Thought what?"

"That you and I would be on the same side," she answered. "It's been a while, Acelina."

I mentally cringed at that name. "Yes it has." You could basically feel the tension in the room. The last time I had seen Tiger Lily was when me and Peter had killed a good majority of her tribe and she was banished to the Enchanted Forest.

"Didn't think I would ever be back on this godforsaken island."

"Was hoping I wouldn't have to see your face again," I replied, smirking. She glared back at me.

"You think I wanted to see yours? After you killed my family?" she asked. I shrugged and she rolled her eyes. "We might be working together now but that doesn't mean I don't want to strangle you right now."

"Trust me, the feeling is mutual," I muttered.

We stood in silence, me leaning against the wooden desk and her against the door. I stared down at the floor and the gun laying in the middle of it. I thought about my decision. God, I made a mistake. But I had to, right? I mean, if I didn't, we could of all died. I just had to hope it didn't come back to bite me in the ass.

"Having second thoughts?" Lily asked.

"Just questioning wether or not I should shoot you next," I snapped.

Lily held up her hand and created a fireball. "I wouldn't if I were you."

"Oh aren't you just special? You know, you're not the only one with magic. And if I had shot you, you wouldn't have been fast enough to react. Don't think so highly of yourself. It wasn't hard to kill your tribe, it can't be hard to kill you," I hissed.

Lily threw me up against a wall and stormed over. "You want to bet?"

"Gladly," I growled.

Tiger Lily raised her hand, but was stopped by the door to the room opening. She released me immediately and I fell to my feet, doing my best to keep my balance.

Hook laughed. "I leave for two minutes and you already want to kill each other."

"Trust me, I wanted to kill her the second I saw her," I mumbled, walking over to stand in front of Hook's desk. He walked around it, taking a seat in his leather chair.

"I wish I would've," Tiger Lily said, standing a few feet away from me.

"I know you two have had your differences, and trust me, I've had mine with each of you," Hook started, getting comfortable in his chair. "But we're here with one common goal, destroying Peter Pan. We just need to get along until after that, then we can all leave this bloody island and go back to the Enchanted Forest. Understood?"

"You sure I can't kill her before we leave?" Lily asked.

I smiled sweetly. "Darling we both know which one of us would lose that fight, magic or not."
