Weekend is my favourite part of the week. Ever since I was still a child, I love staying inside of my room. I’m not like other kids who would go outside to play with others. I just stay at home, read a book, write something inside my head, study things I want to learn or just sleep and just listen to some music. That is my childhood memories until now.

Maybe I am unique like that, I never seen a kid like that before. I’m not scared or afraid of people... I just love being alone and hate in crowd.

“Nak! Kakain na!” mom suddenly called me from downstairs.

I looked at the little clock beside of my study table, it’s now passed 10 in the morning. I still didn’t eat breakfast and I don’t have any plan to. Hindi ko na napansin ang oras, I’m currently writing some poems in my notebook.

Since I don’t have any plan to eat and I’ not yet starving, I just continue writing.

“Nak! Selina!” mom shouted again after a few hours ago.

I heard some footsteps coming in my room, before I heard a knock.

“It’s open.” I said while still writting.

“May bisita ka sa baba.”

It hit the bell. Who? Napatingin ako kay mama.

“Sino?”

“Your friends.” Mom said while smiling, she’s happy. “Bumaba na, hindi ka pa kumakain.” Before she left hanging the door open.

My friends?! Friends?! I don’t even have on--- is she pertaining to them?! I immediately clean my mess and looked at the clock, its 11am. It’s probably them, sino pa ba? And why are they here? How did they know where do i live? It’s weekend, why are they freaking here?!

I immediately went downstairs and saw them—yeah, them. They’re complete.

“What are you doing here?” I asked right after I saw them.

Tay raised brows at me, Emman and Kurt acted like they’re hurt, Clyde is looking at the camera while Aljon is smiling.

“Ganda ng bungad natin, ah” Tay said.

“Good morning din.” Clyde greeted me, what?

“Kumain na muna kayo. Hindi ka man lang nagsabi Selina na bibisita ang mga kaibigan mo.” Mom said while holding plates with full of rice and some dishes.

I raised my brow, “They’re not my friends.”

They got shocked by what I have said. I don’t want to hurt them by saying that, it’s better to tell the truth than to pretend. Mom would expect that I slowly breaking the thick wall between me and them. A thing I won’t do. And perhaps,  sila ang lapit ng lapit.

I went to the kitchen to drink some water. Hindi sila pinakain ni mama sa dining table namin, probably because they won’t fit there. It only has four chairs.

“Sumabay kana kumain sa kanila, nak.” Mom said, biting her lips to prevent from smilling.

I sighed before placing the cup I used to our sink. I don’t want mom to misunderstand things, i don’t want to give false hope, but either way, I don’t want to break the happiness inside her heart. So I just remain silent and went to living room to eat with them.

“Good morning, friend” Emman said.

I gave him a glare before putting some rice in my plate.

“Hindi mo pala kami tinuturing na kaibigan, it really hurtz.” Emman dramatically said.

I rolled my eyes at them, “Bakit kayo pumunta dito? At paano niyo nalaman ang address ko?”
