I, once again, have no idea who this is but she seems like a Julia. I've given up on trying to get people to vote this book. Vote whatever chapter you want! I don't really care anymore, I just want to write. On with the story!

《~~~~~>.<~~~~~》

~Julia Carter~

I wake up in the morning to an empty bed.

Thank God.

I do my usual morning routine, pull on my jeans and black shirt. I also add extra foundation to cover up the bruises from last night.

I look outside to see that it's cloudy.

Crap.

Now it'll look weird when I wear my sunglasses. Oh well. C'est la vie.

Since today is my day off, I'll try to get some shopping done.

~at some random grocery store~

I'm walking down isle 3 when I get a call from an unknown number.

"Hello?"

"Um, is this Julia?" A man's voice asks into the phone.

"Yes this is she." I answer, curious as to what the stranger wants.

"Well, I was looking for someone to clean my house on Tuesdays and this guy named Tommy Ricardo recommended you." He replied quickly into the phone.

So Tommy actually gave out my card.

I guess he does really care a little.

"I'll have to get you to sign some paperwork so I can clean your house. When will you be available to do that?" I ask nervously into the phone.

"Right now. Where do you want to meet?"

"The Coffee Shop." I say confidently into the phone.

"Ok. I'll see you in 10 minutes." He hung up.

Ok then. Looks like I'll have to hold off on running errands. Thankfully since I'm 5 minutes away from The Coffee Shop right now and I put my picture on the card, I won't be late and he will recognize me.

But, he didn't tell me his name. Oh well.

~Richard Clarke~

I forgot to tell her my name. I'll just ask the person that fixes my latte to point her out.

I really need to get that house cleaned up.

~at The Coffee Shop~

"She is right over there." The cashier girl pointed out.

"Wait before you go, can I have your number?" She asked shyly. I frowned, looking her up and down.

"No." Then I walked away from the poor girl like a boss. Which I am. Haha that wasn't even funny.

"Are you Julia Carter?" I ask the girl sitting alone at the table in the back wearing sunglasses. It's cloudy outside so I find it odd but don't question it.

She looks at me for a moment.

"Yes, you must be the person that called earlier." She takes out a folder from her purse and slides it over to me.

"You need to put your address, house info, when you want me to work, and what you want me to clean on these two pieces of paper." Once I fill out the paperwork she looks at it and nods her head in approval. Her sunglasses are really starting to bother me.

"Um, could you take your sunglasses off please. I like to look the people that I'm going to have working in my house in the eye."

Oh crap that came out a little rude. Her eyebrows rose to signal surprise at my words.

"Sorry that came out so ru-" she cut me off mid sentence when the took off her glasses. She had a black eye.

"Oh sorry about your eye. What happened?" I asked quietly.

Before she could answer I saw the real estate agent, Tommy Ricardo, come to our table looking very, angry.

"Julia, are you cheating on me!" He almost yelled.

"Tommy no, calm down, this is a new client that has asked me to clean their house." She replied silently.

"Um, I'll see you tomorrow Julia." I told her scrambling away from the table.

Well that isn't going to end well.

Why do I feel guilty for obviously getting her into trouble with her boyfriend. I think I should go back.

By the time I walked back inside they were both gone.

I hope she turns out alright. I think I understand who gave her that black eye now.

I shouldn't get into her business, should I?
