~Julia Carter~

I saw the door burst open.

"Julia!" Richard screamed as he burst through the door towards me.

"Richard!" I got up from my chair and ran into his open arms.

"I'm ok now. I'm ok." I said trying to reassure myself.

"What did he do to you?" He questioned, his eyes shining from unshed tears.

"More like what I did to him." I laughed at the memory.

"What did you do to him?" After I told him what happened he started laughing.

"That sounds like something you would do Julia." I stated while smiling down at me since he was at least a foot taller than me and my 5'3 height.

"Let's get out of here Richard." I was basically pushing him out of the door at this point.

"Alright, Alright I'm going!" He sped up causing me to trip and knock him down. When I lifted my head I saw the back of Richard's head.

"Can you get off me?" He asked politely.

"Um...ah...yeah...." I slowly rolled off him. When I looked up I saw him sticking out his hand to lift me up off the floor. I placed my hand in his warm one. He pulled me up and into his chest to hug me again.

"Um... Let's go." I said pulling away from him.

-at Julia's house-

"I know I've only known you for like a month but, would like to go out on a second first date with me?" He said looking directly into my eyes.

"Yes! I'm mean... Um yeah...cool." I replied trying to sound as calm as possible.

"Alright I'll pick you up tomorrow at 8, Okay?"

"Alright."

"Goodnight Julia." He leaned into hug me.

"Night Rich." I replied hugging him back.

-later that night-

RRRRRRIIIIINNNNNGGGGG

I checked the caller ID. It was my sister Melanie. I haven't talked to her in forever!

"Hi Melanie!" I exclaimed.

"DONT HI ME I HAVE BEEN WORRIED SICK! WHY DIDNT YOU TELL US YOU WERE KIDNAPPED! WHEN I SEE YOU I AM GOING TO SMACK SOME SENSE INTO THAT LITTLE HEAD OF YOURS!" Ahh the joy of having a hyper, jumps to conclusions, over protective, little sister.

"Is Robert there?" I ask trying to talk the calm one in the family.

"Uh...yeah...here he is." She sounded defeated.

"Julia are you alright!" He questioned a hint of concern in his voice.

"Yeah I'm fine. How's mom?"

"She's fine."

Like I said ALWAYS that calm brother.

"Good....... Melanie is right next to the phone isn't she?" I already knew the answer to that.

"Yep." I faintly heard Melanie's voice saying 'why did you have to tell her' in the background.

"I gotta go. I'll be coming to visit y'all on Saturday." I heard Melanie squeal in the background.

"Ok." He hung up.

Since today is Thursday I'll have plenty of time to prepare for all their question, concerns, comments.

But I still can't wait for Friday.

"I see him boss." I told my boss.

"Good." He replied coolly.

"Do you want us to take him out now?"

"No not yet, I want to have some fun with this." I could just see that sinister smirk on his face.

"Why?" I questioned.

"He has something of mine and I want it back."

"How are you going to get it back?"

"I'm going to threaten to exploit him and all of his dirty little secrets."
