After almost a year of planning, the day has finally come. Me and Julia will finally be together. A ripple of excitement runs across my skin.
"It's almost time for the ceremony to begin, so hurry up." My best man, aka Robert, stepped into the room.
"I'm so nervous." I told him.
"I know. Before you marry my sister I want to tell you something." He looked at me seriously before continuing.
"If you ever do anything to make my sister unhappy, I'm going to make sure it never happens again." I stiffened.
"I promise to fill her days with happiness and sunshine. I won't make her angry. I won't make her sad-"
"I was just messing with you." He laughed at me.
"But seriously, don't." He then motioned for me to go wait at the alter for her.

"It's time to go! Hurry, hurry! Get ready to go!" My Maid of Honor, aka Nicole, shuffled around giving orders. She has been making sure everything was in place and perfect on my special day.
"Oh my gosh your growing up so fast. It's just like yesterday you were in diapers." My mom hugged me while dabbing her eyes with a tissue.
"Mom stop, you going to make me ruin my make up." I was starting to tear up.
"Alright I need the flower girl to go get ready." I had chosen Helen's granddaughter to be my flower girl sine she was just a little sweetie.
A little while later all of the bridesmaids had gone and it was my turn to walk down the isle. My arms were shaking when my dad linked his arms with mine.
"It's alright sweetheart, don't be nervous, I'm right here with you." He reassured me. I was only shaking lightly after he said that. Then the music came on and it was time for me to walk down the isle.
I looked up to focus my eyes on Richard. His eyes were red and tears were streaming down his cheeks. After I saw this I started tearing up. When I finally got to the front of the church, my father gave me away and I walked up onto the platform to stand facing Richard.
"We are gathered here today to witness the wonderful uniting of Richard Clay Clarke and Julia May Carter." The pastor who was officiating our wedding announced.
"Julia, you are all I could ever ask for. I know that when times get rough, you will always be there for me. I used to think I had nothing. But now I know that I have everything with you."
"Richard, I was broken and damaged when I met you. I didn't know what love was. But in the time I have spent by your side, I finally know what love is." I started to tear up.
-skip to right after the I do's cuz I am one lazy writer-
"I pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride." Richard smiled before pulling me closer. I had to stand up on my tiptoes so I could reach him. He then planted his lips onto mine. I don't know how long it lasted before we both pulled away. He took my hand and we went to the back to take pictures.
"I can't believe it." He sounded so happy.
"I can't either, pinch me." He made a move to pinch me but I took his hand into my own before he could.
"It's a figure of speech." I told him.
"I know, just wanted to both of your hands." I looked at him in slight shock before wrapping my hands around his neck. He then leaned down to kiss me. We pulled apart when I heard the door open.
"C'mon you two, the guests are waiting." My mom informed us. When she walked away Richard turned to me.
"Shall we, Mrs. Clarke?" He said like a gentleman.
"We shall, Mr. Clarke." I then looped my arms with his, and we headed off for the dining area.
