Today is the day.

Richard is going to meet my parents, my sister, and my brother.

KNOCK KNOCK (no this is not a joke)

That must be Richard.

I ran downstairs to open up the door.

"Hello beautiful." He smiled sweetly hugging me as he stepped through the door.

"Hi Rich. So are you ready to go?"

"Yeah."

-magical time lapse to 2 hours later-

"We're here!" I shouted jumping out of the car and running towards my parents house.

"Julia!" Melanie shouted bursting out of the house, she threw her arms around me almost squeezing the life out of me.

"You......can.....let....go...now." I tried telling her. For someone with such a small frame, she was surprisingly strong.

"Ohhhhh sorry!" She quickly let me go and looked over my shoulder.

"Who's that?" She pointed at Richard.

"Hi, I'm Richard Clarke." He smiled at her. I looked back at Melanie.

"He's also my boyfriend." I stated so I could get over whatever storm was about to come next.

"YOU HAVE A NEW BOYFRIEND! What happened to Tommy, not that I liked him anyway, just wondering." Oh. I need to tell them what happened soon. But not right now. I want to be happy right now.

"Uh.... I'll tell ya later." She simply nodded her head and motioned her hand gesturing us to go inside.

When I stepped inside I saw mom walking up the stairs quickly, dad taking something out of the oven, and Robert on the phone. I cleared my throat.

Nothing.

"AHEM!" I cleared my throat louder this time.

I heard my mom rush down the stairs quickly, dad almost drop the pan he was holding, and Robert looked up then went back to talking on the phone.

Rude much?

"Ah Julia it's so nice to see my baby again!" My mom walked over and hugged me.

"Hey kid." My dad came over quickly hugging me then going back to the kitchen to finish what're he was doing. He didn't even notice Richard. No one noticed Him.

"I would like you all to meet Richard, my boyfriend." I announced. Richard waved at them and said a quick 'hello'.

Mom spun around looking me dead in the eyes. Dad did the same thing. Robert hung up with whoever he was talking to.

"Boyfriend?" Dad questioned. I nodded my head.

"I'll explain later."

"No you'll explain now." Robert looked at Richard. If looks could kill.....

"Fine since your so eager." I stated sarcastically. I went over to sit down at the couch, Richard on my left and Melanie on my right. Melanie has been surprisingly quiet this whole time. I looked down at my hands. They were tightly clenched together. Richard took hold of my right one.

"Don't touch me sister." Robert growled out to Richard. Rich reluctantly let go of my hand.

"Tell us what happened to make you end up with.... Him." Robert demanded. He was starting to scare me. I have never seen him this angry.
