BEEP BEEP BEEP
I pressed the snooze button on the alarm clock. Then I remembered it was Sunday. I hopped out of bed and ran to my bathroom to get ready.
-1 hour later-
I pulled up to the church that Helena had given mr the directions to yesterday. It wasn't very big but it felt.... Comforting. I stepped out of the car and walked up to the church. I was instantly greeted by Helena.
"Julia, you came!" Helena exclaimed as she hugged me tightly.
"I wouldn't miss it." I told her a smile spreading across my face. She smiled back.
"I would like you to meet some people." She took my hand and led me through the ever growing crowd. She suddenly stopped in front of a group of four girls who looked to be about my age.
"Girls I would like you to meet a dear friend of mine, Julia Carter." She introduced me to them. I waved and smiled.
"I'm Carrie Smith." The girl had blond hair and blue eyes.
"I'm Stella Smith, Carrie's twin." A girl who looked almost like Carrie stated.
"I'm Heather Jameson." This girl had bright red hair and green eyes.
"And I'm Nicole Watts." She had black hair and brown eyes.
"Well ladies I hope you all and Julia become great friends." Helena looked expectantly at the group.
"I'm sure we'll be great friends soon." Nicole said reassuring Helena.
"Well, I'm going to go and find a seat. Have fun with these four Julia." Helena then walked off in the direction we had first come from. I looked back at the group. They smiled at me. This is awkward.
"We all should probably find a seat." Stella started leading the group through the crowd and into the sanctuary. We finally came to a spot near the middle and sat down on the cushioned pews. Then I saw Richard make his way down the isle. He saw me and waved. I waved back as he made his way towards me.
"Hey Jules." He said all nonchalant. He then killed me with that heart melting smile. No Julia! God first.
"Hi Rich." I replied. He sat down next to me. I looked over at the girls sitting next to me. Stella and Carrie looked shocked, Heather was smiling in her own little dream world, and Nicole looked a little surprised but not like the twins.
"Hi I'm Richard." He waved at them.
"We know." Stella and Carrie said at the same time. I looked at them like 'what's wrong with you' but they didn't even acknowledge me. I turned back around to look at Richard.
"That's Stella, Carrie, Heather, and Nicole." I introduced him to them since they weren't saying anything. He just nodded.
"So what are you doing after church?" Rich asked.
"I'll probably go home." I replied.
"Or you could hang out with me." He suggested.
"Maybe." I told him

-after church-That was a good message. I haven't felt so alive in years. I walked out of the church. Then I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned my head to see it was Richard.
"So do you want to hang out?" He asked expectantly.
"Sure." I shrugged my shoulders. He flashed me a smile.
