𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝑀𝑎𝑠𝑘- Chapter four

                                    Dream's POV.
The snow had slowed a lot, it was a simple trickle of snow now. The snow was light and fluffy, Y/N was awake although she was fine she was sick and I didn't want her to go home alone. So with that, George and I have decided to bring her to the SMP.
It'll be temporary until she was fully healed.
I had grabbed her things, gave her the staff and decided to tell her..
"Since you're not well you'll be coming to the SMP with George and I until you get better, unless you wanna stay forever which no one is stopping you. But I don't want you to risk getting worse, I k-"
Before I could finish I was cut off,
"Ok.."
She was quiet, I had smiled a bit. Her face was blank and tired, I pat her head.
"Alright!! Let's go pissbaby and Y/N!!"
I chuckled out smiling.
"HEY!"
George shouted out.

        Y/N's POV.
"Alright!! Let's go pissbaby and Y/N!!"
Clay had said loudly chuckling.
"HEY!"
George said angrily, in the moment clay had grabbed my hand and ran out the cave with George chasing shortly behind, I had laughed. I felt like shit, my legs were still sore but I ran with Clay. I felt like air when he grabbed my hand, I felt the butterflies again, as he slowed down we looked back to see George angrily rubbing towards us.
"RUN!!"
Clay had shouted as he started running again, we had hid behind a hill after losing him. Clay had worked up on catching his breath and I did the same, it was a problem to breath as it is.
I had sat down and took out a canister and drank some water, the male sat next to me and looked at me.
"Sorry if that was tiring, you're sick and it wasn't the smartest choice to be sick and running in the cold. Once George finds us we'll walk the rest of the way! Better yet I'll carry you- I know how tiring it is to be sick and you should really be resting."
He said smiling, his green eyes glistened in the cold morning sun along with his breath making clouds as he breathed.
I had smiled and nodded.
"I'll walk, it can't be that far"
I had said smiling, George had found us and threw a snowball at us angrily.
"You guys are jerks! Let's head home before midday we don't have much to go- also- Dream remember to put on your mask."
A mask? Clay had pulled something out his bag, a white face Shield, he had placed it on his head ready to put it on at any moment, I was confused. But instead clay had stood and hoisted me up and we started walking like nothing happened. I was confused but didn't say anything.
We've been traveling for about two hours after starting and by now I was Clays back, he hadn't wanted me to tire myself out, I had looked ahead and saw the beginning of a city. Must be the Dream SMP, clay had fixed his mask over his face and started walking.
"How do you see out of that-"
I had questioned, he had laughed.
"The inside is see through- I should have a spare one on me if you want it!"
This was a question of yes or no. I wanted to deny but he was already handing it to me, I had slipped it on easily and could see clearly, it was a bit darker but it was cool.
"I was gonna say no but this is awesome-"
Out the corner of my eye I see someone with dark hair rubbing towards us.
"DREAM!! GEORGE!! YOU'RE BACK!! WITH- with drista?-"
The yelling he approached with had scared me and caused me to fall off Clays back.
"No it's Y- are you alright?-"
I had fallen on my back and had stood up, and nodded.
"Mhm"
Clay had nodded, he had helped me up and smiled.
"Sap this is Y/N! We sort of broke into her house after getting into a fight with a dragon and she helped us- we got trapped in a snow storm and we found her and she's sick and we- I didn't want her to go home alone incase of another storm."
I had just stayed silent, not knowing how to respond I just nodded.
"Oh cool! I'm nick, but everyone calls my sapdaddy-"
Sapnap had said leaving me confused.
"Sap-sapdaddy?- George talked about you as sapnap-"
Sapnap had frowned.
"Well he's Lying everyone calls me-"
He hasn't finished his sentence when Clay had interrupted-
"No one calls you that- anywho! Ima go show Y/N around!"
Clay had said happily grabbing my hand and walked off waving at the two other males.
He had showed me where I would stay, it was next to a house a guy named Karl could let me stay in. Clay said he didn't have a house near here, so I'd be staying there. It was next to a loud child named Tommy, a lot of the people here were tall.
After I was shown around I was free to go on my own, Clay had some things to handle with others.
So I was just sitting around looking at the view, I had heard some talking behind me and it was getting closer.
"TUBBO LOOK A WOMAN!"
I had looked behind me to see they were running at me, a large blonde male and a brown haired shorter one. I had panicked and started running, my legs have been sore so it was difficult but I tried to keep running but fell, I heard the yelling stop but they kept running towards me.
"Are you ok?!"
The shorter male had asked me, I simply nodded, I still had the mask on.
The taller blonde one had looked at me.
"That's not drista- who are you no women are allowed here."
He had said, he sounded young. I didn't say anything but stood up and looked at him, Clay had taken my staff so I didn't get in any fights so I was technically powerless. I opened my mouth to speak when I heard a familiar voice,
"Leave her alone Tommy, she's just gonna be here until she gets better. She's sick."
I could see a bit of fear and panic in Tommy.
"Sorry dream! Come on Tubbo let's go-"
"Bye dream! Bye random girl!"
I watched as they left and I stood up and walked to clay.
"Thank you so much, isn't that the child Tommy?"
I had asked.
"Yup- Tubbos 17 and Tommy's 16, but don't be scared of them! I'd kill them if they hurt you- anywho- I want you to get some rest. Remember you're sick, I don't want you to get worse Y/N."
I didn't want to deny him, but I also didn't wanna be alone. I knew no one but Clay, George, Sapnap, and Karl. There was a lot of loud people, like one person named Big Q Clay warned me about and many others.
"Uh clay- I don't really wanna be alone-  I barely know anyone and I-"
I was cut off by him before I could say anything more.
"I can take you too my house on one condition. You tell no one where I live."
I had nodded then he grabbed my hand and started walking.
After a few minutes of walking we made it out of DreamSMP and were in a forest, after more walking we made it to a small house, Clay opened the door and let me in. It looked a lot like my house just bigger, he leaded me to a room and explained he had business to attend with George, he had said he'd be back in a few hours yada yada.
Before he left I had looked him in the eye and said.
"Take off your mask Clay, I wanna see your eyes"
He was confused, he hesitated but took it off.
"Why do you wanna see my eyes?"
I didn't respond. I just looked at his green eyes that shimmered when hit with the light in the most beautiful way.
"The mask doesn't allow me to see your eyes, they're beautiful."
