It was the morning after the cat incident and Clay was human again.
All was normal.

                                Y/n's POV.

I had woken up and felt Clays hands wrapped around me, he was human! I felt him breathing on my face, I opened my eyes to see his closed eyes directly in front of me.
I felt my face get warm as Clay moved closer, I felt his nose press against mine.
I saw his eyes open, his emerald eyes filled with sleep I felt his lips touch mine as his eyes were filled with shock and his cheeks flushed a bright pink.
I pulled away quickly and sat up, stood up and dashed out the room.
"Holy shit-"
I sat myself down on the soft sofa and took a moment to collect myself I felt my cheeks were still red and I was still flustered, my mind was blank but the feeling of Clays lips against mine lingered, it shoved my head in my hands as my face only heated more.

Clay's POV.

My cheeks are hot.
We kissed.
Did she kiss me or was it an accident?
So many thoughts raced in my head, but I was happy for some reason.
My stomach twisted but in a good way? I didn't know how to explain it.
I'm gonna talk to her, but what do I say.
I let myself think, I sat myself up and thought, I know what I'm gonna say.
I stood up and walked into the living room to see Y/n, as red as a tomato she had her eyes covered and she was smiling and I'm not sure she even realized it.
I chuckled,
"Y/n get up, it's still 6. Come back to bed, it was an accident I'm sure flustered both of us for reasons both of us both of us would rather not explain. So unless you don't wanna, just get up and let's go back to bed. We can face back to back."
I saw her look at me, a small smile grew upon her face, I wanted to know what went inside her head.

"Alrighty, Clay maybe later I wanna finish the interior of the house we've made for me- it's all we have to do then I can move in!"
I smiled, I didn't want her to move out but as long as she was happy I didn't care.

We made it to the bed and I looked at her with a smile. She returned it.
"I'm guessing neither of us are gonna return to sleep so, good morning Clay."
She said smiling.
