Twenty-Two

A/N: Happy holidays guys!!! I'm back to my Normal (well as normal as it gets lol) so I'll be updating this story more often. I hope you are all having a great closure to 2020 😊
~Beam~

" P'Lam is back with his ex?" Ming asked rhetorically after I told him about the phone call I placed last night. "Beam... forget what has transpired between you and those guys. Things could only get worse from here."- Ming said. I couldn't refute his comment because he spoke nothing but the truth. " I know...but I need to talk to P'Lam. Call me crazy but I want to know if...if..."

"If what Beam? Listen, even a phone call with P'Park had you shitting your pants. Don't give that guy a reason to come find you. He doesn't play when it comes to P'Lam"-Ming said leaving the auditorium. There's only a couple of days left until the Moon and Star competition. So I stayed behind to practice my talent portion. When I noticed someone starring at me. P'Forth had stated he would wait until the night of the Moon and Star for my response. So you can only imagine my surprise when I saw him standing by the entrance.

"You're ready to go home?" P'Forth asked walking towards me. We are currently the only two in the auditorium. I had planned on staying behind and rehearsing for a while . So I shook my head no, to answer him. He looked around, " ummm... I know I should have texted you I was heading here. I can leave if you don't want me here"-P'Forth. I guess my body language told on me.

" NO!!!... I'm I-I-I... I was just staying behind to practice for my talent portion of the show. Umm, you can stay if you want"-I said. This made him smile, and then he pointed to my guitar, ".. . You also playing the guitar? I did that for my talent portion too. Almost won, if your brother hadn't swoon all the girls on campus hahaha"- P'Forth said picking up the guitar and stroking it a few times.

" Yea... still surprised you lost to P'Pha. You definitely look better than him..." I replied. To which he simply laughed. " So what song are you singing?" He asked. " Ed Sheeran, Thinking Out Loud..." I replied. I don't know why he was cheesing so hard, starring me in the eyes. " I love that song... Actually one of my favorite songs." He said.

I don't know why? But I suddenly felt shy, P'Forth is really charming. That I cannot deny, just being with him alone here like this reminded me why I was attracted to him in the first place. After our chat, he sat down on the floor, while I practiced my song. He just listened, without interrupting me. Once I was done, he clapped and said, " if you don't win this years Moon, then the competition is rigged hahaha" he said.

" Well, there's definitely competition. You don't want to root for your school? Ming has a great chance of winning this year.." I said. Without looking at me, he said " I rather root for my boyfriend"-P'Forth. I don't know what came over me, but I gasped at his comment. " I know you haven't made up your mind yet... but I want you to know my mind is made up. Hopefully, I hear good news in a couple of days"-P'Forth.

~Forth~

My comment about him being my boyfriend definitely took him by a surprise. Honestly, when I first met Beam. I just wanted him for a one night stand, but then I got to know him. Perhaps, it is because he is making me work hard for him. He came off as sassy and outspoken, nowadays I see more of this coy and innocent side of him. Lam was right, when you meet the right person. Being dedicated to that one person comes easily. I've never been in love before, but I do know Beam is the only person that makes me nervous and excited at the same time.

" You don't have to act awkward with me now hahahahaha" I said when he went completely silent after my comment.  " How about you have dinner with me before you head home?" I asked him. He seem to be hesitating at first. Then I followed it with, " It won't be far from your place... there's this really good Korean restaurant Lam has been telling me about. I really want to try out the spot..." I said.

" It's okay... I'll meet you there. I drove my car today" he responded. So we drove to the restaurant in our separate cars. Upon arrival, the vibe was good, then the waiter glanced in Beam's direction. " Ahhh welcome back...". I guess he has already been here before.We spoke about things that we are into, apparently he is currently catching up on Game of Thrones. " That was a great show... Lam used to host a watching party every Sunday when it aired. I believe he recently started rewatching it" I said.

I noticed Beam tensed up suddenly. Okay, something is really off about N'Beam. What is weighing on his mind? Did I say something I wasn't supposed to? " ... are you okay Nong?" I asked when I noticed the beads of sweat on his forehead. He nodded, " Yea.. I am fine... the Kimchi is a bit spicy for me. I'll be right back, I have to use the restroom"-N'Beam. He stood up and headed towards the restroom. Then his phone began to ring, I knew it was invasive. But I was curious as to whom was calling could it be the other guy? Then the caller ID stated *LAMB*.. "Lamb?..."

~Lam~

P'Park was here this morning to drive me to school on his way to work. We are not officially back together, but I've decided not to fight him on it. Park does what Park want sometimes. Even if I don't sit in his car, he would still follow behind me. Reminds me of when he first started courting me. He followed me around like a lost puppy then too.

He smiled at me, and asked " how are you feeling today?"-P'Park. I rolled my eyes at him, but he just smiled. " At least you are not cursing this time, that's progress. I am just happy to be breathing the same air as you"- P'Park. Is he being serious right now? " I'll pick you up at 4pm, don't bother hitching a ride with anyone" P'Park said dropping me off at the Engineering building. A bunch of my seniors went over to him to greet him. "I'LL PICK YOU UP AT 4PM, BABE!!!" Yelled over the shoulders of one of the seniors. * What was the meaning of that? *

"Are you two back together?..." Kao asked when I met him by the door. " No, we are not... I just don't have the will to fight him anymore" I replied. " Well I could have been fooled. He drops you off, and cook for you. And even answers your calls, that's seem like a relationship to me"-Kao. *Answer my Phone???* "You called me?..." I asked puzzled 🤨. " Yea, yesterday to ask a homework question. But P'Park answered instead. He said you was napping"-Kao. I quickly checked my call log. It appears it wasn't only Kao that called, N'Beam called as well. According to the call history, they talked for about 5 minutes. *That explains the possessiveness... what did he say to Beam!?!?*
