A/N: So I have been reading your comments. I just want to say, this story is writing itself at this point hahahaha. Some of you might love the ending, while others might hate the ending. But one thing is certain, I have the ending in mind and I've made peace with it hahaha. Thanks for reading 🥰

~Forth~

I honestly don't know how I got home, but I arrived with P'Park in front of the house. He glanced at the passenger side of the car, then asked " where is Lam? Weren't you two having dinner together?.*So that's the excuse Lam gave him about his whereabouts. Since when did Lam become so secretive?* " Yeah!!! We did... he had to go home afterwards. His dad wanted to talk to him" I lied.

P'Park anger quickly disappeared, when it comes to Lam's family. He is very careful how he carry himself, let's just say he was not the Man they had in mind for Lam. So he walks in eggshells when it comes to them, the he cleared his throat, and said " I'll leave then... I'll try to get in touch with him later". As he got into his car, he rolled down his window and asked " Do you know that kid called Beam Baramee?"-P'Park.

One thing is for sure, P'Park's has eyes everywhere. Hence, I was not surprised he has already summed up who Beam was. " Yea... He is the freshman I am courting. Why do you ask?" I asked. I could see him breathe a sigh of relief 😅. "Ohhhh, so that's who he is... well tell him to stop calling my boyfriend in the middle of the night. That's not a good look if he is supposed to be your Man"-P'Park.

I gulped, fighting back the shock on my face. *How close is Lam and Beam actually? * So again, I lied " Lammie is only playing wing man for me,that boy is playing hard to get. " I replied with a weak smile. " Hahaha, didn't picture you as a one man kind of guy. Good for him then, because I was about to go to his place to have a little talk"-P'Park said with a smirk 😏. Of course, I knew what he meant by talk, he wasn't a head hazer for no reason.

As figured, he already narrowed down where to find N'Beam already. I need to talk to Lam, if there's anything going on between him and Beam. I'll gladly pull away, I won't stand in his happiness. But how can I bring it up without him knowing I saw them today? I thought about how to approach it, because if he hasn't talked about it with me. It means he was never planning on disclosing that he knew N'Beam.Once P'Park left, Lam arrived home about 30 minutes later. " Hey!! ! P'Park was looking for you. You told him we were having dinner together?"I asked when he walked in.

He walked to the fridge and grabbed a bottle water, "... yea, I had something to take care of. I didn't want him prying in my business"-Lam. I read the room, trying to figure out how to bring up Beam. " Yeah... he thinks you are seeing someone else hahaha" I said trying to break the ice. He simply smiled, "... Nope, relationships are headaches. I might play around like you for now "-Lam.

Wait!!! Lam, living the one night stand kind of life? That's definitely not him, so is he only messing with Beam? I suddenly felt hot, "... so you are not talking to your new crush anymore?" I asked. This time he didn't laugh, but said with a straight face "... turns out he likes someone else..."-Lam. Could it be? Has Beam decided to be with me instead? I wanted to bask in the thought, but then I recalled how excited he was seeing Lam this evening.

Perhaps,  Lam is the one distancing himself. " Why the long face? Have you packed for Sotus? We will leave right after the Moon and Star competition on Friday"-Lam said changing the subject. Well I won't pry, I know Lam well enough to know when to back off. " Yeah... I might bring a date with me. I plan on getting my own suite"- I said. " Ooooo you and your new guy getting serious huh? 😂 I am happy for you, honestly. Any one that can make an honest man out of you has my blessing" -Lam said sincerely.

Okay, I know he knows it is Beam, so why is he pretending.Well, maybe I imagined the whole part of him being the other guy. Then why did he meet with Beam today? I simply smiled, If I know anything about my best friend. That is, he only lets you in if he is well and ready. " Yea, I think I'll head to the resort early to set up, won't make it for the the Moon and Star...."-Lam said heading upstairs. Something has changed in him, he is not sulking. He seem like his old self again, it is nice to see him in a better mood. But why doesn't he want to attend the moon and Star competition? There is so much brewing in my mind, I just want to piece together this puzzle.

~Beam~

" He said he only sees me as a brother..." I told Ming on the other end of the phone call. I know I felt the spark between us, but I guess it was one sided all this while. " ... Yea, so now you are only considering P'Forth?" -Ming asked. " I don't see him in a romantic way like before. Although I am attracted to him,perhaps we don't share much in common aside from the physical aspect"- I said.

" Look at you all grown up, giving up your shallow outlook on life hahaha"-Ming teased me. I sighed, " ... I am going to bed, I feel like I just got dumped" I said while he laughed on the other end. " Goodnight Beam, at least you got an answer, even if it is not the answer you wanted to hear."-Ming. That night, I went to bed thinking, what if? *What if I met P'Lam first, could the outcome be different? Would he have considered more than a FRIEND?* I sighed and let sleep drift me away.
