Eleven

~Beam~

My conversation with P'Forth had ended abruptly last night. I can't believe he said he would be at the resort. Did he already book a room? These events normally take up most of the floors. While pondering on that, I couldn't help but reminisce about my time with P'Lam too. There is so much running through my mind, but I've decided to let my heart make the decision.Well at least , once P'Forth stops by the resort , I will be able speed up my decision. And put everything behind me.

" Hi Yo, where is Ming?..." I asked Wayo who had just arrived at the entrance of the campus to board the bus. " He texted me that we shouldn't wait on him, he would drive there by himself"-Wayo.*Why would he waste his time and energy driving* Anyway, I know he has a lot on his plate too. Dealing with courting P'Kit plus SOTUS. So I texted him to get there safely.

Upon arriving, we were assigned our rooms. I picked Ming as my roommate. It was either going to be me or Wayo. But Yo ended up with a friend of his. We had an hour to ourselves before the activities started. We all had to record a 5mins video for the Moon and Star Instagram page. Then, I looked at the time and Ming was still not here. I hope he gets here on time. Soon enough, I received a text *perhaps Ming is here, wondering where our room was*. But the text read, "See you in 30 minutes"-P'Forth. I felt my heart thump against my chest. This guy is persistent, he doesn't seem like the type that takes no for an answer.

I simply replied it with an "Okay". Again my phone went off , jolting me back to reality. But this time it was Ming. " Hey, We just arrived..."-Ming. Ummm did he just say "We"? As in PLURAL, Who did he come with? "P'Kit is with me, I'm going to try and check into a room before the first activity" he followed up. Oh wow 😳, he brought P'Kit with him. I guess Ming is tired of them keeping their relationship a secret. Currently, I am the only one that knows, but his presence here will also confirm it for others. I believe that's Ming's goal, he is the type that does things impromptu.Okay, I'll meet you at the lobby then" I said.

~Forth~

" Hello,I'll like to book a suite for the weekend" I said to the front desk when I arrived at the resort. I noticed some of the freshman from our University. Then I spotted N'Ming and Kit at the lobby. Kit who looked like he was being held against his will had a frown on and was pouting. Then there was N'Minng who was carrying all their luggages. He paid Kit no mind, just nodding towards the elevator for him to get on. I was not expecting anyone from my year to be here. This event normally consist of, the Moon and Star organizers and the freshmen participants.

" Sorry Sir, it appears we just booked our last available suite. There is a convention and a university event going on. So most of our rooms are booked, would you like for me to look up another close hotel for you?" asked the receptionist. I thought about it for moment, then I saw N'Beam and N'Yo getting off the elevator. " Hold on for a bit ..." I said to front desk. Then I waved at N'Beam who looked surprised to see me. Probably because I had told him I'll be arriving later than I was right now.

" Hi Phi... When did you get here?" He asked. He look so handsome, I see he was ready for the video part of the activity. " Yea, I wanted to surprise you...". On that note his friend asked, "... is there something going on between you two?"-Wayo. Beam blushed while trying to find the words to explain to his friend what our status was. " I am courting your friend "-I responded . All I could do was smile because of how wide Beams eyes were. He was shocked 😳 to hear me say that.Who knew the overly sassy and confident Beam gets tongue tied.

We were in the mist of our conversation when N'Ming came off the elevator. This time by himself, he froze when he saw me. Then looked over to his friend. " Swaddee P'Forth, I didn't know you were part of the committee"-Ming. I smiled at his remark, because I could tell he already knew why I was here. " Actually no, I'm here to hang out with Beam" I said. All their faces lit up, "... oh!! Did you get a room. I believe I just checked into the last available room here"-Ming.

" Wait!!! Why do you need your own room? I thought you was rooming with Beam?"-Wayo asked. Seeming confused about the situation. But I had already pieced together this puzzle. N'Ming is dating Ai'Kit, and he brought him out here for a get away. Ming looking a bit puzzle, almost as if contemplating how to answer N'Yo. " Yo... ummm, I am seeing someone. And we will be rooming together"-Ming. " Oh wow!!! Who? Since when?"-N'Yo.

This weekend is getting even more interesting than I had anticipated. Almost to deviate from N'Yo's questions Ming asked "... where would you be sleeping Phi?" I couldn't help but bite my bottom lip from laughing. " Well, they are all booked now. You wouldn't mind if I shack up with you Beammie?" I asked. I guess he was taken aback by the nickname I've given him. " Yea, sure there's two twin sized beds. You can have the other one... You guys go first guys, I'll meet you at the beach soon"-Beam responded, while we parted with his friends.

~Beam~

P'Forth just told my friends he is courting me. I am still in disbelief as we arrived on our floor. " Beammie... is this the right floor?" P'Forth said bringing me back to reality. I thought we were just going on a date, but now it appears he has a different agenda. " Why are you suddenly acting coy? 😏"-P'Forth asked placing his hand on my lower back when I unlocked the door.

I felt a sudden chill up my spine, I felt that spark that we had we had during the party. But what scared me this time, that was excitement then. Was the fact there someone else is in the picture now. Not just anyone, but his best friend. "Nong, are you upset I said that to your friends?" P'Forth said, then spun me around to face him. Slowly, I felt his face leaning in closer to mine. I felt my heart pumping, i don't know what took over me. So I took a step back, " Umm, I have to get going Phi... You should settle in, I'll see you later."- I said and hurried out of the room. *Beam!!! What game am I playing now. My heart is torn and I have no control on over it*
