He was the best thing to happen to you...

He looks back at you and smiles. He holds his hand out for you and you take it, interlacing your fingers as everybody else finds a spot to sit around the large blanket.

Everyone tucks into the food and talks. You all laugh and enjoy your time together because after all, you will miss it when its over.

"Oh by the way, gogy is coming tomorrow," tommy says.

"George?" Wilbur asks to clarify.

"What other gogy do you know?" Tommy asks.

"The child is getting sassy," philza says and everyone laughs.

"Hey! Im not the youngest anymore, y/n is younger," he points to you.

"Dont bring me into his," you say.

"She is my child," tubbo says as he wraps his arms around you and pulls you to lay on his legs.

"Correction, she is MY sister," your brother says. You roll your eyes.

"You'll get over it," you hear quackity say, karl snorts.

"Oh my god, karl you sounded like a pig," tommy points out to which everyone laughs again.

The rest of the evening was fun, you chilled, talked and enjoyed it until it was time to go.

The group walks home, tommy and fundy being forced by niki to carry the things from the picnic for ruining your date.

"You are beautiful, you know that right?" Tubbo asks you as you walk back home, hand in hand.

It was past 10.30pm and the darkness had settled in for its temporary visit.

"And you're perfect," you add.

As you reach the house, you and tubbo sit on the outdoor steps while everyone else goes inside.

"Im sorry they ruined our date," you say looking straight ahead of you.

"I invited them to join us," he says.

"But it was my brother that did it," you reply.

"Its not your fault, the date wasnt ruined anyway," he says as he puts his arm out. You rest your head on his shoulder and he presses a gentle kiss to your head. He wraps you in his arms and you sit like that.

Not saying anything, just living in the moment, enjoying the peace.

"Hey, sorry about interupting guys," niki walks out, "we're watching a movie if you wanna join,"

"Yeah, we'll be in soon, just give us a sec," you smile at her. She nods and walks back in the house, closing the door behind her.

"You're the best thing thats ever happened to me," you whisper to him.

"And you're the best thing thats happened to me," he replies.

You smile and the both of you start heading inside.

You open the door but he runs up behind you. He turns you to face him and presses a gentle kiss to your lips.
