Memories... you thought...

The rest of the morning was spent on the picnic blanket, you all spoke about everything before minx announced that she had to leave.

Due to predicted bad weather next week when she was originally due to flight, she decided it would be best if she left sooner rather than be stuck in a place she doesn't live in, everybody agreed and respected the maturity in her decision.

It was all beginning to settle in. The fact that this little celebration is coming to an end. Within a week that'll be it, everything will be over.

Who knows what will happen? Who knows what will happen with your friends? Who knows what will happen with you? Who knows what will happen with tubbo?

Thoughts like these, ones you can't control, ones that have no specific or correct answer are the ones that affect you the worst. The ones that there is no explanation for.

"Its all ok," Tommy says as he carefully places his hand on your knee, when you flinch slightly he retracts however you reassure him that it's ok so he replaces it back down.

"Its coming to an end," you say as you watch the burning flame of light rise further and further into the earth's blanket.

"I know, but it's not like there's no way of meeting up again," he says.

"But that's how long without seeing you again?" You ask.

"We'll have to plan another soon," he suggests.

"I suppose so but I don't know how I'd feel being away from all of you for so long," you sigh.

"I get that yeah but just think of the excitement you'll have when we meet up again," his attempt to calm you down, partly succeeding.

A part of you wanted it to never end, however a very minuscule fraction wanted it to end soon so you could build up the excitement of meeting again.

"How are me and tubbo going to work?" You ask.

"Thats something you'll have to talk to him about," he answers.

"I dont want that talk, it could result in something bad," you reply quietly.

Only a very small amount of people were granted access to this vulnerable side of you.

Tommy was one of these limited people. You knew he appreciated how close you were, the way he looked at you and acted around you, the way he was also vulnerable. That's what you believed made the two of you so close. The fact you could be yourself and honest with eachother.

He was like an older brother to you, one that you could be fully honest with. One that you could spill your soul to without being judged. That's why you liked him so much. He is your best friend, and if you had every single person in a line that had the opportunity to replace him and take his spot, you would pick him. Every. Single. Time.

"I see your point," he agrees, "you see, this is why me and lizzy are going to last forever,"

"Because she doesn't know you exist?" You ask.

"She does know I exist!" He shouts a little bit too loudly, "we are so in love!"

"Oh god! Y/n," niki sighs, "what did you do?"

"She said lizzy doesn't know I exist!" Tommy interrupts you.

"Tommy sweetie," she says soothingly, "she probably doesn't,"

"In other words, she doesn't sit there in her throne with her laptop on her knee watching Tommyinnit play Minecraft," you snort.

"Jesus! Y/N!" Tommy bursts out laughing, at the way you laughed.

"She sounded like a pig!" Will laughs.

"I'M SORRY!" you say, practically begging for them to forget your snort. Everyone starts laughing, and before you know it, you feel a tear drip down your face as you grab at your aching stomach.

"You guys are so weird," ranboo points out.

You suddenly go silent and glare at him.

"Like you're so perfect?" You challenge him.

"I never claimed to be," he said, "I'm just as weird,"

"Thats what I thought," you say contently.

You look down the hill you were sat on and notice a bunch of daisy's.

You get up and go down to them, you pick some, enough to make a chain, before taking them back to where you previously sat next to Tommy.

You start threading them inbetween eachother and when the chain had been finished, you place it atop of your best friends head.

"He's right," Tommy whispers to you, "you're a bit weird,"

You take the chain off of him and place it on your head.

"No, give it back!" He pleads, "you gave it to me, it was a gift,"

"Well I'm taking it back," you cross your arms and chuckle.

"You can't do that!" He says, when you show no sign of budging or altering your decision, he begs and apologises.

"Thats what I thought tomathy," you say, chuckling as you place the delicate chain on his head.

"There we go," he says, sat with a content smile as you watch the sun rise further and further into the sky.

The sky casts a golden shimmer across the world, your face glimmers in the sun and although your eyes start to burn, you feel pretty.

You take out your phone and load onto Instagram. Fortunately you were sat at the front of the group, so all you have to do is hold your phone out a little bit and smile.

You do so and everyone smiles along and huddles into a smaller group to fit into the photo.

You snap the photo and save it, sending it to everyone and before you post it on your story, you colour over the people who wish to remain faceless and tag everyone's accounts.

Tommy gets his phone out and vlogs a few bits with his daisy chain still on.

"This is incredible," you say, slowly watching the sunrise. Everyone around you had fallen asleep by now so you get up and climb the tree to the highest you can get before watching the sun again.

You admire the way the sun sits in the cloudless blue sky, and the way everyone is slept in a little group cuddle trying to preserve the heat as much possible.

You take out your phone and record yourself.

"Hi guys! Its me, y/n, the trip is slowly coming to an end however its been incredible. Its an experience I'm never going to forget. I love these people so much and I'm going to miss them when we are all gone," you monologue into the camera.

"I cant believe its almost been a month already," you say in disbelief, all of the memories flash back and a small tear gathers up into the corner of your eye before falling.

You hear some shuffling from below the tree you were sat in.

"Y/n?" You hear tubbos voice clearly.

"Up the tree," you reply. You turn off the camera and look at him.

You watch him try to climb the tree however, failing instantly and falling directly onto the floor. You hold your hand out for him and help him up.

He sits next to you and you cuddle in the tree.

"When was the last time you slept?" He asks.

"I dont remember," you say yawning and cuddling closer to you.

"Go to sleep for a bit," he says as he caresses your hair.

Before you can stop it, the darkness of sleep consumes you...
