chapter 12

a/n tw: breaking in, gunshots, panic attack

"I could ask the same thing," He says...

"I have something for you," You whisper.

"what is it?" he asks. You open your bag and pull out the bee plush you won at the arcade and hand it him. His smile grows wider than it was.

"I love it!" he says like an excitable child, "Thankyou so much!"

He hugs you again and you smile.

"come on guys," Wilbur says. The two of you pull away and begin to walk hand in hand into the house.

Everyone agrees on ordering a pizza for dinner and you eat, talk and laugh into the night.

You all head to bed at midnight after watching a movie. You fall straight to sleep.

You wake up to glass smashing from downstairs. You immediately sit up and look at Tommy who also woke up.

"W-what was that?" You stutter.

"I'm not sure," he says. You look over to where Tubbo sleeps and see he's not there.

You figured he was downstairs and smashed a plate or something.

"Tubbo's not here," You say.

Niki walks in to your bedroom, she looks scared.

"Guys, someones broken into the house," She whispers to you guys urgently. Your face drops, you feel yourself begin to panic.

"Tubbos not here," You choke out.

"oh my god," she says, "come on, lets go to mine and wills bedroom,"

You both follow her as quietly as you can. You feel yourself start to panic more.

When you walk into the bedroom, you scan the room for Tubbo but you don't see him anywhere. Your heart sinks and you feel yourself grow pale.

Niki runs over to Wilbur, George and Fundy in the corner.

You feel yourself begin to shake and your legs feel like jelly.

You walk into an empty corner and curl yourself up into a ball on the floor with your back against the wall. Your fingers find the skin on your thigh again.

Your fingernails clench together and you feel liquid ooze out of your leg.

"stay here and look after them, if we don't come back, please keep y/n safe," You hear fundy say faintly. That sets it off.

You begin to hyperventilate, tears begin rushing down your cheeks. The room begins to go blurry and spin slightly, you cant hear anything. Niki nods and then the boys begin to leave. Tommy sits beside you and he tries to calm you down.

Niki sees the state you're in and rushes over. She wraps you in her arms as you cry into her chest. She tells you that the police have been called and that they would be there soon.

It had been ten minutes since the three boys went downstairs. You managed to calm down slightly. You hear some shouting and a gunshot. You sharply inhale and whimper a bit.

You look around the room for a second and everyones faces go blank. They all look at the door and their faces begin losing the colour.

You begin hyperventilating again. Your nails piercing through the skin of your thighs again. Tears spill out of your eyes again. You try to move your hands to your ears and you push yourself further back into the corner.

"y/n," Niki whispers as she realises the state you were in again, "Its ok, they're going to be ok,"

Everyone else rushes over to you and wraps you in a hug.

The whole house goes silent and you wonder whether everyone's dead.

Just then, the door knob turns and everyones attention immediately snaps onto the moving door.

In the doorway, theres four figures you immediately recognise. All four of them look at you. One set of eyes catches your attention.

You stand up and run over to Tubbo. You wrap your arms around his neck tightly, his arms wrap around your waist.

"I hate you!" You say when you pull away. He looks scared and hurt. You feel everyones attention snap onto you and tubbo when you say that.

"You made me worry so bad," You say as you kiss him. Tears fall down your cheeks. He kisses you back.

"I was so scared," You whisper once you pull away, "I was so scared you wouldn't come back,"

"I promise, im not going anywhere princess," He says as he kisses you again. You kiss back as you hold his face gently.

The two of you pull away and Tommy runs upto Tubbo.

"I thought I was gonna lose my best friend," Tommy says.

You turn and see Fundy there.

"don't ever say that again," You say as you hug him tightly.

"I just wanted to make sure you stayed safe," He says. You begin to cry into his chest. He wraps his arms around your head and keeps you close.

"It happened again," Your voice breaks.

"It's ok," He says and kisses your head.

"I was scared," You say weakly.

"I know," he says as he comfortingly strokes the back of your head.

"are they gone?" You ask.

"Yeah, they're gone," He says.

"I think George wants you," Your brother whispers to you and he kisses your head one final time before letting you go.

You see George standing there. You look at him and he looks at you. You run up to him, you wrap your arms around his neck and his arms find their way to your waist as he spins you around.

"Gogy!" You say.

"Y/n," He says as he tightens his grip around your waist. You smile a bit as he puts you back on the ground.

Everyone decides to sleep in Wilbur and Nikis room to make sure everyone is ok.

You cuddle up to Tubbo as you drift off into sleep....
